Default Serpent USA to Distribute JACO Nitro Shoes ?

Just read on the Serpent USA website that they will be distributing Jaco Nitro Shoe tires.

Does this mean that all new nitro shoe tires will be on the serpent yellow wheels ?

JACO will be supplying the sedan tires on Serpent factory wheels. The 1/8 tires will also come on factory wheels. The sedan tires on the yellow rims will be exclusive to Serpent USA. Both regular and 2-stage tires will be available. Check with Serpent USA for pricing and availability.

I use Jaco nitro shoes and they are the best foam tires i have come by so will the normal 5 spoke white rims still be available or would you have to get the nitro shoes with the serpents yellow rim.
Cause i would look a bit off with serpents rims with a kyosho.

Hi.

The JACO deal with Serpent will have nothing to do with our own line of JACO Nitro Shoes availalbe from our regular dist's in the USA. This is a seperate contract between JACO and Serpent to offer JACO rubber mounted on Serpent wheels for the USA.

So in short, yes you will be able to buy as always the white five spoke wheel Nitro Shoes from your local hobby shop.

The new Yellow Serpent wheel mounted with JACO rubber will only be offered through Serpent USA.

Hope this clears it up.

Hi,

Yes, Josh has some things down on paper that look really good.

Not sure what that has to do with this thread..though.... as this pertains to Serpents new tire line mounted by JACO, not what we are doing with our own brand. ( just don't want to steal Serpents USA thunder in this thread)

I think maybe the title of the thread is misleading.

Since GRP is going in different directions for 2006, Serpent USA has decided to partner with JACO to create their new brand tire. So in a nut shell, the only difference is that JACO will be mounting tires for Serpent USA instead of GRP.

Hope that clears it up.

Thumbs up Serpent/Jaco

I tested the new 1/8 Serpent/Jaco tires today and they worked really well. In a back to back test with the Ellegis, the Jaco had better bite overall and stayed more consistent through the whole run.

So does this mean that Jaco tires on serpent rims will only be available in the USA? Or are they going to be sold through european distributors instead of ellegi/grp aswell?

I am not to sure if the tires will be available in Europe. Hopefully Paolo or Doug can come in here and give you an answer to that.

Chris let me try the Jaco tires this weekend and it was a night and day differnece, very stable and more bite than the Ellegi tires. The jaco tires didnt wear out as fast as the ellegi's either.
