MRX-3 or 950?

I am in the process of buying an 1/8th scale, but don't know which one to get. Can anyone help me decide. Thanks

We have a hard time getting Serpent parts here in Calif. in a timely manner, so most people are driving Mugens, especially since the design is a little ahead of the Vector. Haven't seen a 950 here yet, is it even out yet?

I will vote for MRX3. Costs less than a Serpent and handles very well right out of the box.

dont know much about 1/8 scale but around the northeast you can get parts for either car. But at my lhs serpent parts for 1/10 are much more expensive than mugen

Mugen $450 vs. 950 app. $600
For $10 you get at least 2 Mugen arms vs. 1 Serpent arm
$60 for Mugen clutch vs. $100 for Serpent Centax
If you look closer to the 950, it's Serpent copying Mugen this time.
Serpent parts are pain in the a$$ to get, we all knew that.

Serpent fitment is horrible. You have to ream out every arm and bearing blocks to get the arms free. With Mugen, you don't have to do any modifications and the arms free up.

And last but not least main reason
Serpent stupid front body mount plate!!!!

Fantom??? Where the heck do you think you can get parts from? If that, why not a (Mud) Slide???

I came from a Serpent car to a Mugen. I was hell a lot happier when I drove the Mugen!

As a matter of fact, there are 2 Mugens in the for sale section, one new, one with hopups for $300 each.
