Thumbs up **Official** 2016 Fuel On-Road Nationals Homestead RC Raceway 10/19-10/23

Each year, elite rc race tracks from around the country bid to host one of six annual ROAR national events. Through careful consideration and debate, the Executive Committee awards each race and sets the schedule for the following year.

Oct 20-23 Fuel On-road Nationals, Homestead RC Raceway, Miami, FL

Event flyers with class listings, tire information, day to day schedules...etc, will be announced on an individual basis. Registration for each event will open 90 days prior.
The ROAR Executive Committee would like to give a special thanks to all affiliates that weren't selected and encourage them and all ROAR tracks and clubs to try again next year.

I have a question regarding the pit spots for this event.

http://www.rc1-racing.com/#!pits-layout/d372l

So besides the entry fee, it's an additional $20 for a pit spot?

Thanks.

Yes the pit spot is $20 for the event. If you would like to come a day early the Wednesday practice day fee is $15.

This is correct. The $100 race fee is paid to ROAR Racing. The only income for the track is Wed practice and pit spots.

***HELP NEEDED FOR THE NATIONALS***

Homestead RC Raceway is very fortunate to host the Nationals. It takes a lot of work to get the track ready. If anyone can help us with some maintenance and painting it would be great. Send it an email and let us know if you can help.

Remember guys this is all done by racers for racers!!!

Is it possible to set up a canopy close to the action?

Unless things have changed since I've been there, the entire pit area is under a canopy within arms reach of the track.

I couldn't select the xray pit spaces so I picked one of the open spots.

Dorian, I couldn't get a desirable,(to me) spot either. I went with 17E.

We will have an area on the side of the track where canopies and trailers can be set up.
