Congrats for this project! Question, the diffs, do you use silicone oil or grease as it was original intended ?

Nitro RS4 diffs don't have the necessary seals to hold silicone oil, so I use silicone grease instead. In the rear diff I use plain white silicone grease, and in the front diff I use Tamiya Anti-Wear Grease (which is extremely thick silicone grease with some sparkly silver crap added to it) along with a preload spring between the spider gears.

do you still happen to have this car? I just recently installed the one piece hot bodies graphite deck into mine and I cannot fit my os 18cvrx motor into it. I'm about to swap to the stock deck to compare but the chassis engine mounts won't line up since the pull-start housing pushes against the deck where it mounts to the read diff housing.

I still have this car, but I converted it to electric a few years ago. I have some other RS4 3's that are still nitro, though. I've never held a OS 18CV-RX in my hands, so I can't envision the problem you're having without a picture; most likely you just need to grab a Dremel and grind-off a little bit of the carbon fiber deck to make space for the 18CV-RX's pullstarter.
