"COPY RIGHT INFRINGEMENT"

Let's see, HMMMMMMM

I guess some people never read the the little warning at the begining of a "DVD" from the F.B.I. about copy rights. It also applies to little motors to............

Any way anyone who would buy a "smells like crap" motor from smeltz or a j-tech....is just being fooled.... None of these motors have even run at any BIG races.... That I am aware of........

Oh I'am sorry I meant these coppied motors....

OH yea smeltz if you or any other copy cat want to put you're money where you're mouth is , I'll see ya at the speedline race in april... Dennis will be they're to and I'am sure he would love to talk to you....

PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!!!!!!!

i have a smeltz sirio and honestly none of the cuts on my engine look like what he was showing in the early pictures

i think it looks totally different there may be something similiar but when i opened it up it was much different than i had expected

but that might be cause it isnt a novarossi engine

but the way i see it he is trying to get away from anything that could be called a duplication of motormans work

i have a question for motorman though
does it upset you at all if a guy like me modifies an engine for himself using one of your engines as an example?

if you dont believe me thats fine

i dont have a picture to post

but why would i lie

i dont have any reason to lie what good does it do me

i dont care that you dont like smeltz

i wanted to get a modded sirio engine

i didnt have the option of a ritchie modified

there are only a few people around me that do engines i know

1 of them told me flat out NO he wouldnt mod an engine for me because he is my competition

the other did mod an engine for me but he has also modded many of our local racers engines

i wanted something different hopefully to get an edge over the others

smeltz was my alternative

i could have gotten something else but from his pictures he was doing good work even motorman comented about how closely the engines looked

you're right eyerolls not needed I wiped them.

I understand where you're coming from even though I've never been where you are. I'm just saying it's hard to see how the copiers are hurting you given when you stopped doing engines for the public you had more orders than you could fill anyway and your engines still can bring 200 dollars USED and are the ones in most demand.....STILL.

It's interesting to see your list as I thought Tennessee was sponsored by you and he's bashed two of those companies you listed as not trying to be jerks. That's why I posted really. You're the top dog ATM, so why be bothered if a few leeches hop on for the ride? Just pluck them off and keep rollin.

No,
However duplicating and reselling is another matter all together and is nothing short of Unscrupulous.

{{snip}}

I feel I have given freely more engine tuning, porting and power information and secrets to the public and given freely of my personal time than any engine modifier to date. And what is the result of that, a bunch of smack talk from the peanut gallery, all I can say is bring it to the track and show me.
I have been thinking of mod-ing my MT12 for a while (as it starts to show its age) and looking around for good examples.

I have seen the controversy (mostly between you and Smeltz) and watched as the information actually starts to dry up.

This hurts guys like me - the small guys. I want to play with my own motor but getting information gets harder when others start stealing ideas. Theft of ideas doesn't spread the information, it stops the spread of information. I can't afford to send a motor to anyone to get modd'd, thus I want to do it myself (after I purchase a new motor. . .).

Most of us are behind you M! I am.
