Maybe you shouldn't post about a company that is not legit in the first place.

litespeed-dom,

The company (BMI) being legit is solely your opinion only. I tried to help a buddy out and you go slamming a company you know nothing about. You are a true business man for sure. LMAO Conversation over.....read another post.

Here goes litespeed...

BOLISARIO,

Good thread, sorry dom-litespeed and I argued on it. Did you find a good engine you are happy with?

Alot of us here in the Atlanta area are running MURNAN MODIFIEDS. They are Bloody fast and don't require the builder there to get them to run consistantly.

Give Uriah a call or drop him a line these are Awesome powerplants ! ! !

There's a link to his e-mail a couple of replys ago. I checked the motor out on ebay. From what I see nothing different is being done.(just a different way on a few things) A little different on the tear drop (fuel ports) 1 long tear drop and below 3 tiny cuts. I see that wonderful orange guuuuu in the crank, pretty tear drop that got extended. Not much port work from the pictures though. I hope there is a whole lot of block work to compasate. Doesn't even show the carb to see if it has been worked. And the last I checked it was going for $200+ already. Is he charging $85.00 to mod these .12. If so I hope he shows more of his work to justify that charge. I konw dennis and smeltz work is work it. Their work has been proven.

Engine modifiers are quite out there, basically almost all makes the same, add timing to the crank, port the sleeve and modify the carb.

Others can do many other things: Polish the conrod (Mspeed), add some epoxy ramp to the crank (JP, Mspeed and others) and the least change the steel balls for ceramic on the main bearing.

Here have one engine modifier that makes quite good, he does little details that makes the difference from the rest (Ecaz)... For example: it grounds the part of the head who touches the plug button for a better contact.

Each engine who modifies gets an unique name with all the info and timing information and it can duplicate exactly if anyone requests one. And the best of all, he tunes only one type of engine and hears what is requesting the guy and acts on the engine depending what's asked.

Is Smeltz still doing motors? Some guys I race with have his modded motrs and they are "JUST BALISTIC!!!" Last I heard is that he was not doing them anymore. Is this true or false? Hopefully false.

Thanks,
