Default Serpent shocks or TRF?

For the 748 TQ, I have the shocks that came with it as well as the TRF shocks. Which ones are better?

I used to run the TRF's on the R10 because those shocks were not that great.

If I were to run the serpent shocks, what "color" serpent springs would be best for overall in the front and the rear?

With the TRF shocks I run HPI pink springs up front and the silver ones out back.

I would use all serpent parts. That way you can use some of team members setups. I use blue in the front and pink in the rear or some times blue/blue. The big bore shocks are really nice.

The Serpent shocks are fine. The new big bore serpent shocks and towers are an improvement and a worthwhile upgrade later on.

Almost always blue on the front and then switch between pink and blue on the rear. Sometimes in particularly poor traction I may go to green TC front springs and Red rears.

I am assuming I already have the "big bore" shock towers as I cannot tell a difference between the ones I have and the ones pictured.

No you wont have. These arent kit standard. The towers that come in the kit are for the RCM Super Short Shocks.

The big bore towers are different. P/N's 804388 and 804389. Big Bore shocks pair P/N 160135
