Charging receiver packs??

I was wondering if a Much More CTX charger would charge the receiver pack in my Serpent 950r?? The wall TX/RX charger doesn't work for some reason so wondering if this would?

What is everyone charging the newer 1400Mh packs at. I use to charge the old 800Mh packs at one amp and they would take 45 minutes to charge. The new packs will end up taking over one hour. But I guess that it should take the same amount of time because I will still be using the same amount of power out of it before I charge for the main.

I think my venom racing battery which was 1200mah had instructions included with it which said to be charged at 1.2 amps. 2 amp for fast charge but even said it would diminish its life.

I think the rule is. For every 100 mah you charge .1 amp. So 1400mah can take 1.4 amp.

At least thats how I believe Ive seen it.

Take care.

I have always charged my reciever packs at 2 amps. My MTX-3 pack lasted longer than the car.

I dont use my CTX to charge rx and tx packs. The CTX tends to be too sensitive that it false peaks often, you will have to raise the peak detect but that tends to heat up the pack too much :( . I use my pulsar to charge rx and tx packs at 1amp.
