  • Quote: Hey Al are Chris Reade and Simon Camalleri not there yet or just not plugged there transponders in yet?

Have you spoken to Mike Swauger much and what he thinks of the track?

    Cheers Daniel
    Hi Daniel,

Yes Chris and Simon are here but I guess haven't plugeed in their transponders. A lot of guys are doing this to try and mislead the competition. Spoke to Mike and all of the rest of the US team and they seem to be very happy with the track and facilities.

    Cheers Alastair
  • Quote: Hey Alastair,

Are Mugen drivers using the new GRP Ninja engines or the JP's?

    Cheers Peening Garcia
I believe most are using the Ninja though I would have to check my stats and I dont have them at home they are at the track in the rego database. Anyway most of this info is in the results section on the worlds website. We should have stats and more info on what drivers are using once rego is complete and we can collate the data.

    Regards Al

  • Difference in rules
    Difference in rules
The third day of racing at the IFMAR Worlds started with a big surprise for some racers. Following IFMAR rules the wing of the body shell must not exceed 10 mm of the boot lid of the car. This is different from the EFRA rules which say that the wing can exceed 10 mm of the bumper of the car.

This difference in rules has been detected by some European racers while wanting to get through the technical inspection this morning. As you can imagine it caused lots of hectically modifications on body shells and spontaneous stress in the pit area. The frustration even grew when realizing that most of the set-ups and insights from the last two days were (partly) useless because of the modifications on the body shell

  • fast and smooth
consistently fast and smooth driving by Chris Tosolini in all runs.
Next to him also Keisuke Fukuda and Mike Swauger showed a constantly fast performance during the whole day. All in all the track got a little bit slower compared to yesterday with the fastest lap being driven by Chris Tosolini in the morning (17.3 sec.).
  • Josh Cyrul no final decision yet
Josh Cyrul no final decision yet
Until now no official decision has been taken. This only can be done until the race officially started and one of the team managers submits an official protest. The race direction will discuss the issue then and will make a final decision. So this story has to be continued
