They are the new RCC shocks, they are standard equipment on the 960. They also fit the 835 & 710. I have a set on my 710 & it is the best upgrade I have done. They are the easiest shocks to maintain that I have ever seen

But if you look at the shocks real closely it looks like work by Hudy, Serpent could have contracted Hudy to make them...

Yeah I just bought shocks for my 710, have anyone try them on a XRAY?

most Serpent & Hudy/Xray parts are similar in quality. They are branded Serpent, the factory they come from doesnt matter.

Any decent machine shop can make parts like Hudy's. Just because it looks high quality doesnt mean that only Hudy can make them.

I believe you would need the rear one to fit into later model of Xray EP cars.

Probably.......but lets just say that ppl (not too many, just some) are using the REAR only RCC shocks onto their Fk05. Not the front.

I was thinking of trying the rears on both ends of the 710. I have found that running tyres smaller than 58mm on the front leaves you short of adjustment to get enough ride height on a bumpy track. I found out the hard way as I happily screwed the collars to get the ride height I wanted. I went out for my race & the car was terrible, tweaked like a bitch. Once I had run out of thread on the shock body it started to unscrew the cap, I didnt notice as the oil cant come out the top. They have thread lock on the cap now

I think its about in the middle but to be exact, you might want to search on T1FK05 EP forum. Paolo has given the exact measurement of what is the original FK lenght compared to the serpent rear. Or maybe Paolo could have answer your question here , just hope he did not miss it after having a another system down perhaps
