I suggest that you first try to sell T-Maxx and touring car bodies on Ebay. If that works out, then maybe this would be a great idea. I heard someone say that this was the way that he got started in custom rc car painting.

You can tell if people like your design by the price that your cars sell for.

I figure that a body with paint a graphics will cost $60 thats including the body....

$20- Body
$10- Custom Paint
$25- Vinyl Graphics
$5- $10- Packaging and Shipping(If nessesary)

What do you think??? I've heard that most bodies go for about $80?

Do you think I should cut the bodies my self? (i.e. Lower aprins, bumpers, and wheel wells)

Any Ideas will be greatly aprshiated........

Default What about labor?

I always figure if it doesn't pay me at least $15 an hr. Then it's not worth it.
What is your time worth. You should be getting a 30-40% return on each one unless you sell to a distributer. Then it's more like 10-20%.

Let people cut bodies themselves, especially for touring cars. Personally I don't see vinyl graphics going for $25. And you definitely find me as a customer b/c I love airbrushing as many car bodies as I can.
I still say that you should try to see how you do on Ebay to judge how people take your work.
