Default 4 - Sale

Hey everybody,

If you are looking for G4 stuff I have listed on ebay a RD Logics Mongoose with almost every option installed as well as several hundred dollars worth of spares for a low starting bid of $125 bucks on ebay with no reserve.

Check it,
Brad T

Front:
large front diff pulley divided by small front diff pulley multiplied by large side belt pulley divided by small side belt pulley miltiplied by spur gear divided by pinion gear equals final drive ration for front axle
32/18*27/19*46/24=4.842

Rear:
large rear pulley divided by small rear pulley multiplied by spur gear divide by pinion gear

Multiply final drive ratios on each axle by the tyre diameter on that axle to get the split size required if running overdrive

It's how I do it anyway

Has anybody tried the K-Factory UFO Push Type Clutch Shoes RED k1497-6 ( http://www.kfactoryracing.com/prolis...me=%20k1497-6). I would be interested to see what effect this has on the clutch.

The spring tension seems super critical on the the new UFO clutch. It would be nice to get a bit of slip from the shoe so that you are not right on the threashold of total slip. Its seems any more than .8 tension and your springbound.

Anyone have problem with this UFO clutch? After the engine has warmed up, and a couple of blip then I try to raise the throttle (the car is still on starter box)

10% engine rev, tires still not moving
20% tires start moving slowly
30% tires moving faster
40% engine rev higher but suddenly the tires start slowing and then stop
5o% engine rev higher tires start to moving again

I try every suggested clutch setup and it seems like no grip at all. My driver is kinda frustrated, because the car handling is already perfect but the UFO clutch performance is far beyond expectation. Removing some material from the lower suspension arm turns out can help the car on bumpy track.

Don't have that sort of problem before, I am either too late engagement or "autorun" are you sure your flywheel pin is OK and everything went in smoothly?

It might help to know what clutch spring you are using and how many threads are showing above the clutch nut.
