It was a MRX-4. But The MRX-4 Driver is not fast car.

He recorded Best Lap 16.2 sec.

But Other Top Driver(Evolva M3) recorded 15.3 sec.

I recorded 16.9 BestLap.

guys I need help!

I am installing the WC kit but I just noticed that the front left and right bulkhead bits are different to the ones in the pic / manual in the kit

see this pic:

see the original G4RS bit has the plasticky bit over the hole where the front diff goes ...

the one in the pic seems like there is nothing there ... of course, the top does not fit ... as there is now lag between the cover and the bulkhead

am I doing something wrong?

cheers

EDIT: is it supposed to come with the bulkhead? cause mine did not!!!!!!!!!

I left it on and just slid the diff under it and then screwed in onto the chassis. Makes it a little harder when i want to change the diff though

Just a quick question concerning my ED transmission in my G4's. If i changed the front 30t pulley to a 32t pulley how would that affect how it drives??? I want to use a K-factory spool that i have but the 30t pulley doesn't come off the multi-diff so i would have to use the 32t pulley that's on it. Every other pulley, pinion, spur gear will remain the same.

Also anyone got a part number for the K-factory bell crank that comes in the 'wc' kit???

I am also after an alluminium brake lever for the G4's, i've had no luck in the buy/trade/sell section so i will post here. Pm me with details. Thanks

That is excess from the mould so just trim it off with a hobby knife.

Down load the Serpent drive calc program from the Serpent website and just change all the pulley values to get your answer.
If not mistaken the 32 will not be a good idea.
You can buy the 30 tooth ally pully and use it with the Kfactory light weight spool or on a diff.

Do a search in the G4S thread, there is also a excell spread sheet the guys put together that can help with ratios and overdrive.

Default teeth gap

hi guys,
since the stock G4 pinions and spurs are using a gap of 5 teeth difference; will it matter if i'm using a 6teeth gap on the pinions but a 4teeth gap on the spurs?

will it cause improper meshing and strips my gears?

I would modify your brake arm get a mugen mtx lever with pin from 3racing i think there is one at rc mushroom then you can also get the mugen linkage with it also this will prevent your linkage popping off and also you can dial your brake in to what you want. look back a few posts as I remember seeing somepics.
cheers

I know that was a issue on the Serpents with the pitch they use but havent had any hassles with the gear combos i have tried.
Some others can comment but i dont see it as a hassle.
Only problem we had with stripping gears was the bearing play on the 2 speed housing and having excessive clearance on the 2 speed shoes to the 2 speed housing.

Some have mentioned with the RS that the motor mount caused some hassles too.

I run the diff up front most of the time. 50000 wt front and 10000 rear. It makes the car very smooth even on high traction tracks. You do have to be smoother on the throttle as it will diff out if you jump on the gas really hard out the corners. It just makes the car very easy to drive and feels more like an electric car on track.

well...maybe it's due to the 2 piece engine mount that the RS is using?
i'm using the 1 piece kf mount on my RS and haven't had any issues.

i'm going to try 16/50 and 22/46; we'll see any gear stripping issues!
