Has anyone here had experiences with ultralinehobbies.com? I put an order for a G4RS kit and some other stuff today, and there was no confirmation e-mail, status update, anything According to their policy it should have been shipped today (since I ordered well before 12PM), but I don't think it has. I need the car asap so I can prep for the weekend race .

Hi Prime,

Yes I have used Dan at Ultraline Hobbies.
He's ok don't worry.

I know since he's had Team Magic stuff in, he's been getting very busy.

Give him a call to make sure. He'll probably appreciate the kick up the *%$ ... lol

You'll like the kit

Ultraline hobbies just returned my call and the car was indeed shipped yesterday. Whew, that's a weight off my back .

I am very interested in the G4. I am wondering if anyone running the G4 now changed from running the Kyosho RRR WC EVO? I run on a parking lot tracks most of the time, so I will be racing the car in low traction. Any feed back would be great.

Thanks,
Tim

Yep, that would be me...

You'll love it - all the parts last longer ( car stays fresher) , easier to drive, easier to work on and much better tyre wear.

It seems to have a much wider "sweet spot" than the RRR (I had all of them)..

Tim,

I switched over from the RRR WC EVO in January and right out of the box I had faster times with the G4RS. As stated in an earlier post the car does have a larger sweet spot which means less setup and more racing and the tire wear is great if you have the car dialed in. Right now I have an IDM EVO 3 in the kit but I've also run the JL tuned Rd Dot Evo 3 and the Ninja 12 and they all work well with the kit. The car is also a breeze to work on compared to other kits on the market.

Thanks,
Daniel

Does anyone have a link to the manual? I have the g4s and might go for the RS but if i do purchase the car, i will at the same time buy spare parts. Since i have the spare parts for the S, i only want to purchase what is not duplicated on the S. ie: rear wing arms, etc... For this i need the manual and not just the parts list.

Thanks

what do you have on your S charles ? if your running speedshot, then just go for the rear end parts. i put a list of the part numbers a while back for all the rear end parts you will need. i still run the S arms on the car apart from the rear flying arm, due to the swaybar setup. so your looking at just bulkheads, top arm links, shock tower and tower brace. unless you change to the RS chassis, then you will not need the back plate or the lower hinge pins. everything else bolts on to the RS chassis.
