if you're talking about kfactory unis K1488, yes you can...
they're length adjustable for either front or rear.

the Universals are the same front and rear. there are 2 pin holes you can set them at. outer hole is short, for rear, and inner hole is for long for the front. but the same part number.
the dog bones shouldnt fall out if you have your track width set right, and you have your droop set, and cambers set. i have seen one car using the dog bones, and they arent close to falling out. ?

Try wolfhobbies. They have a website and I think they're in Granite Bay, CA.

Ahhhh Mr. Perez I presume...... lol

So you finally got yourself your own G4S...........there's no looking back now
Divisional champ, all-state, National, Worlds!!! Is there an Inter-Galactic Champioship?? I'll get you entered.....lol

Good to hear from you steve!!
The stock G4S is a great car even with the stock tranny!

What I would do when you have some money to spend on the car is get the pulley set from the G4RS. They fit the stock two speed and front pulley shafts and they are ED sizes. Get the ED pinions and end bell set and you'll see a difference in acceleration and top speed using the ED system over the stock tranny. But for now, the stock stuff is fine!

I'm still running the S but I have the RS pulleys I mentioned on order from Wolf Hobbies.
Wolf Hobbies and UltraLine Hobbies are the places to get your spare parts if and when you need them Steve. Or myself......lol. After running the G4 for so long I thing I have more parts then most distributors.....lol.

Anyway, for the future. I would look at getting the speedshot front end with the plastic top brace. It's lighter. That will make future front diff' replacement's a breeze!

Let me know how you get on Steve. Any probs, give us a call.

Regards,
British Menace

Hi steve. i would also suggest the G4RS plastic pullies and ed pinions.
speed shot front end, and G4RS back top shock tower mount with the new rear top arms and rear hubs. everything else use the std G4S stuff, like arms and front steering blocks. but also get the new rear swaybar.
Wolf hobbies has all the parts, i would also suggest a Kfactory solid front axle. its light and fits the plastic pulley with ease.
i just got back from the SA titles, i qualified 7th , won my semi final and came 5th in the A Main. the car was great all weekend. no issues apart from the flying wing arms on the rear, there is casting bubbles in the plastic. they arent that straong, but if your using a G4s then keep the std arms.

Guys, what i did after carefully making my maths, is got myself a G4JS and with upper deck and rear shock tower from my G4S made me a quasi RS for 229.00 bucks. You get plastic speed shot, plastic ED transmission, flying wing susp.arms, new steering blocks, rear uprights, etc. etc. plus you stay with a lot of spares. it's cheaper than buying the parts alone.

Default too much steering vs understeering

hi,
i believe i've read somewhere here that the RS has alot of steering and steering rate needs to be turned down...

does too much steering = oversteering?

i find that my RS suffers from understeering during on-power; any ways to improve or prevent?

setup as follows: front / rear
spool / 20k diff
1.6spring / 1.5spring
600 shock / 500 shock
90deg arb / 0 deg arb
3deg camber / 3.5deg camber
1deg toe out / 2deg toe in
1mm droop / 4mm droop

anyone got a good setup for a low-medium grip medium-sized track?

setup looks ok, i would swap the swaybars around, flat front and 90 deg rear. also roll centers are very important. try top inner position with 3-4mm spacers on the hubs, and either lowest position on speedshot or middle inner for front roll center. the hard front swaybar can cause your understeer, i always run the front bar flat. work with the rear bar for grip and turn in. but do try those roll centers.

i've tried flat front with 90deg rear before; but it causes my car to loose rear grip...
roll centers: front is in middle inner but i'm still using the std G4 rear hubs...oops.
