Yeah...if you have to grind 1mm, then just take it of from the brake disk. I only had to grind .2-.25 of my engine so I didn't think it affected the performance, durability.

you will find that the 0.8 gears are very similar in size even though the teeth count are different. i would grind the disk, safer, and a better option.
on the gearing, dont change it to suit a fitting problem, change it to suit the track and engine.

i hope you do get the battery. i had things on order for over 2 weeks and nothing was happening. so i went through paypal for a refund. since then i have managed to get a hold of 3 LRP 1500mah lipos. they are small and a good fit. they also now have balance charge leads, first lot didnt have them, a better way to charge them, they last longer. if your stuck i have a new one in box. i have just assemble all the radio gear in mine. i should have taken a pic, but didnt. oh well. maybe after the weekend i could. basically i cut out the radio plate a fairbit. i made a 'u' shape plastic box that houses the lipo where the reciever fits. totally encased. then i cut out the radio plate above the throttle servo, enough to slide in the servo so it stands up . drill a hole in the plate to offset the tank. another plastic housing for the reciever backing onto the throttle servo. ill take some pics after the weekend. or before if i play wiht it some more.

ok sorry if this is a stupid question but,

can anyone post up droop set screws in mm and pivot ball space in mm as well?

the manual seems to be WAY off.

if possible

the distance of the set screw from the bulks to the end of the screw in mm
the distance of the pivot ball to the a-arm in mm
the distance inbetween the ball cups for the rear anti roll bar
the distance between ballcups for the steering linkage
the distance from one end of the shock to the other.

stuff the G4S manual listed that the g4rs doesnt have or is off on, anyone who has a caliper, it would be nice, now I know these change but I want a starting point, so anyone who has measurements that work, this would be a great help.

i dont feel like spending $60 on a battery and more on a charger for it.

im gonna go with the 1100mah battery by tm, pick up 2 of those.

anyways, what is up with the rear dogbones? my pivot balls are screwed in to manual spec and i can play the dogbones out....

do i need to get unis, or longer 1/8th scale dogbones? seriously if I do thats one big issue.
