I am thinking of replacing the bearings in my g4rs with ceremic rubber shielded bearing but at $60 a pop for the drivetrain only its not an easy decision has anyone had experience with ceremic bearings?
cheers

aussiess, I wouldnt do it for 2 reasons.

1) the g4rs is already balistatically fast as it is.

2) for the price you spend one 1 ceramic kit, you can buy 2 normal ones as replacements/backups

also YLLiB....an energy bar? what did you do to it? lace it with a drug? is it stale? one of those exploding ones? cmon you had to have done something to it

Don't waste your money, the bearings that come in the kit are excellent!....the car rolls very free without ceramics

there is a site on ebay where you can find bearings rubber sealed the important ones and the clutch ones for about $20

they work just as great as the stockies on the g4s.

I would go that route.

they also have thrust bearings for like $2.50 a set

Edit: Walawala Store on ebay, thrust bearings went to $3.83 but thats still much better than $13

aussies1129: I just wanted to say thank you for even mentioning us in one of your posts to rcrevolution to purchase the car. If I can do anything for you drop me a p.m. and I will help you out for the sales lead you mentioned. I have a discount coupon for parts for you from SpeedWorld.
thank again

rcrevolution: just take a bite every 15 minutes and that will get you through building the car, LOL.
Thank you again.

After 10 years, Speedworld just appreciates all the business and custmers it gets, thats all.

We have slowly been receiving parts from our TM supplier, it just takes longer than we want at times.

thats not nice!I heard that getting thrown under a bus is a common thing in the usa, here in Australia I can organise for you to be either bitten by a spider, snake, shark, crocodile, or speared by a stingray any one of these will get you a very long DIRT NAP!Back to racing!
