thanks for the information Pattojnr. I really appcreciate it. I was wondering how does the car feel in its stock form is it well balanced? Also where can I find the manual for the G4RS, I looked on the TM site but all that I found was the exploded views of parts and the parts list.

Thanks Jason.

firstly there is a manual at wolfhobbies.com
i am yet to run the car (next weekend), but all reports are good so far.
there wouldnt be any hopups needed for this car, maybe just rear universals if you want to. problem being is many guys were adding parts to stiffen the car, the G4+ came with all the stiff stuff apart from the alloy radio tray supports. this i fell made the car hard to get rear grip. now things have changed a bit with the car now, i cant wait to run it. it will be good in stock kit form. might have to play around with diff oils , or maybe get a spool for the car if you prefer it.

i use a LRP 1500mah (79910) LiPo dimensions are 52x31x22, its quite small for a 1500mah size. there are mods youhave to do to the radio tray. like remove the section of the carbon between the normal battery and the fuel tank. i made up a small shield out of plastic to sit on the battery and glued it to the radio tray, plastic protects the belt side of the battery and use double sided tape on the chassis. make sure no carbon or alloy is close to the battery. vibration for wires and casing of the battery isnt good, i also used some heat shrink around the whole battery and this holds the plastic also to the battery. a bit of silicone around the carbon surround where the battery sits is also effective for insulation and vibration. let it cure then put the battery in . this is just precationary measures. hate to have a wire rub through or the casing.
the reg i use is a VRX 5 amp reg. there are smaller ones around, but again 5 amp is more than enough. LVR-5000. you can fit this ontop of the transponder mount. again double sided tape and a zip tie for this. also recommend a y harness here to plug the battery into the reg and the transponder before the reg.
a swallow 2 charger works perfectly fine to charge the battery. there is no balance plug on these batteries. most 3 cells i would use a balance charger. 2 cells seems ok to use with out balance charging. keep an eye on your charge between heats, as the reg has a low voltage cut out. when it hits 6V it will cut all power to reciever. this battery lasts all day. i have run over 1.5 hours on this battery and it still had 6.8 V. so again precaution here to keep an eye on your charge. i hope to post some pics soon of my car. once i get the reg and all out of the buggy.

sounds good look forward to pics of your car and lipo is a bit of a mystery to me at the moment no one uses it at my track so I will being going in blind folded but if I can get the weight down and good run time it will be all worth it!
thanks mate!

Thats a nice pipe Gansei. Does the polish ever wear out??? Its seams like everytime you show us a picture, your pipe is very shiny. You can always check if your hair is in its place.
