Hey guys. I have a mangled 20t middle shaft from the ED transmission and am having some trouble finding a replacement - all of the usual suspects are out of stock including the TM direct sell web site. As an alternative, is it possible to use the hard coated 27t pulley (K1459) with the hard coated 20t side pulley (K1459) on the stock middle shaft with a bit of shimming to take out the slack? Has anyone tried this before with any success, as it seems easier to get the hard coated pullies than the replacement ED middle shaft.

thats fine, seems to be the thing to do as the middle shaft is prone to breakage. you may need to do some grinding to get the E clips on the shaft, with the 20t side pulley. but a few guys have done this to remedy breakage problems in the past. can you not get the plastic pulley set for the G4RS ? just a thaught.

the part # is, 502321, it is the 19, 20, and 27t pullies, they are plastic so get a few sets.

I had the same problem with my ED middle shaft broken, but I took another alternative going to plastic pulleys.
I used my original G4S transmission middle shaft with the 27T side pulley and adapted a Traxxas Nitro 4 tec 20T middle pulley PN 4895.
You'll have to just drill the center hole of the pulley to fit the G4's shaft.

Default Two Complete cars for sale

My friend has two Team magic G4 cars for sale.

One has never been run. They would be great for extra parts or to put electroncis in and run.

I don't know too much about these cars so when you inevitably send me specific questions about them, I won't know the answers.

I can post photos if anyone is interested in purchasing these two cars.

I am looking for $75 shipped for both with paypal confirmed address.

Let me know if you're interested.

Sorry for posting this here instead of in the for sale, but I thought you guys might be more interested than the people in the general sales thread.

Thanks!

go to www.teammagic.com.tw download the G4RS exploded view and parts lists. has all the new part numbers you will need to know. use the exploded diagram to see what the parts are that you want.
if you are fitting a G4+ rear end on the chassis, you will need to shorten the hinge pins, or you can buy the new ones. youhave to shorten them by 2mm or so. i hope to run the G4+ with the RS chassis and new rear top brace and rear top arm links in 2 weeks. but it feeld good now, so im sure it will be better on the rear now.
