ok you have a few options here
go to wolfhobbies.com , look at the list of dealers, depending where your are situated, there should be one near you. you can also go to rcshopping.com, (TM shopping site) but im not sure how this is going to work now the US has a distributor ? or you can try the usual suspects in Dinball, and Mushroom. hope this sorted your delema.

Thanks for the info' about the RS pulleys, that's helpful info' to have.

I didn't read back that thoroughly on previous post's and hence, missed your post. Sorry.

If you were to add weight to the G4 Paul, where and how would you put it on the car? I want to carry on with making the car very light and having "fixable weights" that I can use to bring the weight of the car up to speck. Different weights could then be used to alter weight biase front to rear as a tuning option or whatever.

What do you think?

British Menace
Havent forgotten about this post Tony, just havin a really good think about it its starting to hurt
first off, if the car is so light, how durable will it be ?
second, obviously the chassis is a point where you want to add the weight (low CG) but how ? last thing you want to do is use led stick on weights, i would hate to see one come off in an accident in a long main, then be underweight when scrutineered. so i would think something bolt on, and some where around the ends of the chassis, more weight infront could give you a little more rear weight transfer, and some more off power grip up front, and vise versa for the rear, so i guess once lightened to where your happy, run the car and see what it is the car needs, as to where to add the weight. but let me keep thinking about it for a bit

The car looks good. My G4S is seriously worn out after years of racing (it started life as a Mongoose), and I was considering making the switch to the Mugen for next summer, but this has given me reason for pause. Couple questions...

-How much is it going for?
-Where can I get one?

So far, the only thing I don't like is the switch to a front gear diff. Short track or long, high grip or not, my G4S always worked well with the front one-way. So I don't see why the switch was made to a front diff.
The one way from you car will work in the RS. The diff gives better turn in over the spool and brakes that the one way lacks. Some drivers like the diff on small and technical tracks. I'm am going to try it out next year.
Wolfhobbies.com sells them for $439.

btw, isn't the std g4s already running with 19T brake pulley?

pardon me if u find my qns stupid...

Sorry that is correct.
Ive been swapping the brake pulley's to see the difference and between the 18T/19T/20T the 19T ran best with the Mega DSII where as with the Axial and Palmaris the 20T felt better but again the clutch setup could also be a contributing factor.

hey Razzor/Paul so is there an upgrade kit to the g4rs available now? I take it if any one wanted to upgrade to ed trans then the g4rs plastic is now a better option than the original metal ed trans?
cheers

i dont think there is an update kit at the moment.
i am starting with the chassis, and the new rear braket and the shock tower mount and the tower. the new shock tower is becuase i needed a spare, but the pullies being plastic now, just as the original G4s makes it a cheaper option to keep spares for sure. also opens up new options to play with internal gearing for certain tracks. plastic is lighter, but also have to be carefull where you run the car, the littlest stone can ruin a plastic pulley in seconds. but they are cheaper to replace and easier on the belts.
anyone tried the ZF belts yet ? i have a few sets of belts to go through before i head for the ZF belts, thanks.

I havent tried the belts yet but will get after I have gone thru my spares, I have the new white clutch shoes coming in a week or two which TM are claiming higher grip so will wait and see and will let you know how they wear.
cheers

That will be interesting if it turns out to be true.

I find that G4S is easy to drive. I have collided a number of times at high speed. Yet, it still remain intact. It says a lot about this car. It is very tough, almost like an armour vehicle. But local shops cease to stock up TM products.
I am having difficulty getting spare parts. Many hobbyist are giving up their
G4S for cars of other makes like NT1, V1rrr etc. Anything wrong with the distributorship? We have to order from oversea for some parts. It takes time & can be expensive for some items. I hope that something can be done. Or i may join the ranks of the others.

Where abouts are you situated ?
also most places are finding it hard at the moment getting parts for most manufacturers. just a bad time of the year for postal services.

Did you see the Midwest Series schedule yet? No St. Louis race. Does that help make up any minds? Haven't seen the Heart of America schedule yet but me thinks it will be roughly the same as 07'.

June 21 & 22 --Mentor
