Aussies id recommend starting with 30000wt oil in the rear and 50000wt up front if using a diff up front.

Default korea kyosho cup win!

i participated korea kyosho cup in today.

i tried diff setup like darren, dario in Euro 2007

(front 100000, rear 40000)

But my G4S's rear Traction is some unstable in corner-in and corner-out when rear tire diameter was under 62-63mm..

i changed various setup to fix low rear traction.. But i could not find good setup.

after the race.. i quess front diff 100000 setup was not good at my finger..

i got 2nd position in Heat ( 1 sec difference with TQ guy)

i used kyosho CRF engine in this race..

it was very good in high speed.. and acceleration was also good..

But fuel efficiency was very Bad...

so i worry about fuel efficiency.. are there good tip for good fuel efficiency?

TQ quy(RRR) also used kyosho Orion CRF engine..
(he was very fast)

he also had trouble with bad fuel efficiency.

so TQ guy lost fuel time by bad fuel efficiency.
(i could get fuel time closely)

and i also had rear low traction problem after middle of the A-main Race

so i was passed by some racer..

But i tried extreme mind-control.. for no fault..

so i could win the race!!!

Winner: gansei(G4S) 99lap
2nd: Ki-youl Kim(NT1) 99lap (8 secs difference with me)
3nd: ki-yong Hong(720) 98lap

are there good tip for good fuel efficiency when use CRF?

Good going Gansei !!!

The CRF is a bit touch and go on efficiency from what i have been told by guys running them.
I believe the key is to run them a bit leaner than usual around 120dec/c very similar to how i run my Palmaris PR12 and Axial 12RR.
A high clutch engagment also contributes to fuel consumption as well as a 2nd gear changing early.

Well done Gansei!!

For fuel economy, I run .1mm extra head shim and a #5 ninja plug and this helps alot. Also, pipe and manifold makes a big difference to economy.

thanks for your reply..

i run with total 0.3mm head shim(25% nitro fuel) in kyosho cup.

i used Ninja #6 plug. and pipe was CRF Orion Pipe.

i will test pipe MIELKE and novarossi pipe(EFRA-2630).

502117 (bevelled gear set)
502302 (diff cases and screw set)
502116 (diff drives and shim set)
K14122-9 (ED 30T pulley)

diff out drives can also use K14125, but you still need the shim and O Ring set ( Dont you Frankie ? )

Cheers D

Hi Gansei,

On the fuel consumption question.
Try this,
If motor is still prety new, put head shim to 0.35, 0.36 or so. Also the hotter plug, No:5 should also help.
Try putting a little 'Negative expo' on the throttle. Say 10%. (It all helps)
What can also help is setting the pressure line 3 times the length of the fuel line. Aswell as getting a more even pressure at the tank it can also help with fuel fuel efficiency.
Also, as pointed out. Make sure your car is not changing up to second too early as this makes the clutch slip and wastes fuel !

Hope this helps you and congratulation Gansei on your win sir !!
