definately no racing. im not planning another race before the nationals. the acoustic guy is coming on friday if you never got a text from Chirs. they need 10 cars to run around the track so noise levels can be measured. then its a bit of a "lets see what happens" with how we can be with in regulations. other than friday, the track is closed for anyone.

I dont think its neccesary to buy another motor, but having a spare is always nice, you never know what might happen!

I might give him a call, I can't see any mention on the site that racing has stopped until further notice. Mr Fossey raised that point with me last week???? Did you mean Friday 21/09/2007?

Tabor has been away , he updates the site, so im sure something will be on the site soon. yes friday at 10 am the acoustic guy is at the track to measure noise levels. if you can run a pro tourer , it would help. i cant get off work. i think 7 people are going so far, be good to have 10 or 12 go.

Depends on the meeting???
With bump up finals you could end up doing some serious hours on one engine.
Something to consider.

no , i spent most of the day running the engine in at a carpark. all that space around and yet the L drivers wanted to park right next to me
as far as i know the track is closed to everyone. untill further notice. so if the bars were removed from the track , then some one has either cut a key or its a committee member anyone who might have run , has made it harder for the track to be reopened.

Had a blast racing the last race of the KO Pro series at SV Speedway on Sunday. I could only run in the 4th race of this series due to work and family obligations. My last race was quite a long time ago--back in March. After two heats, I managed to qualifiy 7th in the A main sportsmans class. Again I was the only G4s driver out there. In the finals, I managed to stay away from trouble and had only minor bumps and bruises. This was my first race with the IDM engine. This engine had lots of power to pull the car from the corners but lacked the top end power due to a wrong pipe combination. I was using Skyline VR12, but should have used the Picco 2607 or 2617. I was already using 22T, 45T pinion/spur combo. I was getting reeled in the straight-away but I manage to draw them in the corners.
I got up to 3rd at one point but at the end, I ended up 4th place. Not bad for my first race at this track, and I haven't raced for 6 months. The best part is that I had no broken parts.

Gotta get my hands on a Picco pipe.

As for your gearing try this next time:

52T 1st - 21T Pinion
46T 2nd - 16T Pinion

I found the 47T 2nd is not good for top end, once changed to 46 it was super good on the back straight....

I just gotmysef a IDM EVO 2 - mdded thou - so will be interesting to compare against my WASP!

can someone tell me the part number for the rear lower wing type arms?
And are the new G4+ rear knuckles the same as the kfactory rear hubs. ( the ones where you can use spacers to change your roll center) Part number?

thanks guys , ive been looking around the net for the numbers and cant find , figured someone here has it down by memory!!
