Gansei,

I thought you were gonna take a short break due to your big crash a couple weeks ago. Nice to know that you got everything sorted out and got your car back in race condition.

Hello from France,
I was a little bit scared with the weight of this massive car design.

It's really a good car!!!

In Europ, the mini is 1700g without transponder, or 1720g with personnal transponder.

Some titanium screws, and the is good!!!

Bye

hey Gansei, i run the LRP 1500mah Li-Po, there is no balace charge plug on it, so i guess not. but i do suggest to use one if the battery has the plug to do so .

As far as I know, balancing is for li-po packs with 2 or more cells to equalize cells... So logic says no need for balancing for a single cell.. please correct me if I'm wrong...

Thanks Otraver

On the lipo balance question ive been told that its not necessary for 2 cell but more so for 3 or more cells.
Then again if your pack comes with the balance plug then you can iether get a lipo balancer or charge each cell individually as the wiring on the balance plug is actually the individual cell wiring.

What Razzor said. I use a 3S on my transmiter. And every time it goes under 10V, I the 3PK starts to scream, I check the voltage on each cell, and yes, they are unbalanced.
So I charge each one individually.
I think its a good idea to do so on a 2S too, if it does have the wires.

yes.. you are right..

lipo charger cut the charging when voltage 8.4V (2cell base)

if two cell are unbalanced.... it could be one cell 4.4V + other cell 4V..

then 4.4V cell will be died!!! (expanded cell body)

Hey guys I'm new to Nitro and the G4 and I have a gearing question. My car is a G4S with the ED tranny. The track I'll be running on mostly is a fairly small track for nitro, 120'x60'. Will the stock gear ratio pinons/spur be fine for this size of track or should I be looking at different gearing? 1 straight the length of the track and mostly tight corners. Any help would be appreciated.

Depends on your motor but by the sound of it you need to come down a little on the gearing.
I would start at 15/20 Pinions and leave the spures stock 51/46.
You may find you need to go to 52 on first to get the quick darts out of the corners.
If the traction is high enough you can get some of that (acceleration) from a more aggressive clutch.

Are the 15/20 pinions the stock ED tranny pinions? I'm trying to order some parts from Texracer but want to make sure I order the gears that I need.
