Good info' on the + (plus) rear end of the car guys.
I also noticed this about the CVD length.

I have not yet tried the short (Old stock) setting for the bottom hinge pins.
I understand Ben (Bucknuts) ran the car using this shorter rear arm setting at the recent GLC to good effect.
He had to cut down the length of the arm though to get to legal width. But it can be done.

Just a little theory for you guys concerning these new lower pin positions.

Inner pin hole (longer arm) will give the arm a wider arc, hence, --helping-- to keep the suspension movement more vertical.
There is no difference in "swing-axle-lengths" when choosing one or the other. In other words, roll centre hights are not effected when changing from one to the other.
With the different arms though there is some difference to stock concerning leverageon the spring.
Checking length from hinge pin hole to shock mounting position you will see the two options are now either side of the stock length/ shock mounting position.
You can see leverage for yourself on this as follows:
"A" = hinge pin hole to shock mounting position on arm
"B" = Hinge pin hole to centre of pivot ball when mounted in the arm and at the correct position for correct wheel track (width)

Then simply leverage on the spring is B divided byA
You can then see the difference in leverage of the positions we now have.

Some simple theory for you. As I've said before interesting to some, not to others.
Try doing this at home though, leave track time for the practical stuff.........use what works there. Understand why at home

Best of luck

yes you can make it fit
first you will need to make a y wiring harness if you are using your own transponder .........
i took my 5th post off and mounted it there,if your not using a transponder you can mount it there ........
hiding the wiring is a pain thou.......

I use the spektrum in my car. I use the 4mm chassis, and made up my own top cover from lexan and use the standard lower cage and it all fits neatly in the standard position.

OK guys to clarify, the following is the difference between the UFO clutch and the new UFO2 clutch as well as parts for std and ED transmission.

K1497-5 clutch shoe is changed to the K14133-2 clutch shoe
K1497-4 clutch shoe mount is changed to K14133-1
This is only difference between the UFO and UFO2 clutch setup and is a easy upgrade.

UFO2 clutch kits are available for std transmission and ED transmission.
The part numbers are :
K14133 ED UFO2 clutch set
K14137 Std type transmission

For the Std transmission the following clutch bell and pinions are needed :

K1497-8 Clutch bell/housing
K1497-12 ally clutch bell/housing
K1491 20t 1st gear pinion
K1490 19t 1st gear pinion (std)
K1489 18t 1st gear pinion
K14113 25t 2nd gear pinion
K14112 24t 2nd gear pinion (std)
K14111 23t 2nd gear pinion

For the ED transmission the following clutch bells and pinions are needed:

K14122-15 ED 15t 1st gear pinion
K14122-16 ED 16t 1st gear pinion (std)
K14122-17 ED 17t 1st gear pinion
K14122-20 ED 20t 2st gear pinion
K14122-21 ED 21t 2st gear pinion (std)
K14122-22 ED 22t 2st gear pinion

Sorry about the confusion with my post - I thought you meant the normal spektrum receiver.

I have not tried to fit the telemetry option to my car.

I had to get out of Nitro Sedan Racing and have ALOT of parts new in the package for this car.
I even have alot of K Factory Parts.
If you need anything let me know.
