have to aggree the 6 always has a happy back end.
I use the Blits TC which is a Stratus and the Mazda3 .
The Mazda 3 is planted and stabil and has a more aggressive steering.

I'm on my 2nd Nemesis body on the G4s. Compared to the Mazda6, it has more steering and the rear is more planted on the straights.

{Put some shoe goo in and around the front and the wheel wells to make the body last longer. I have one that is 10 months old and is still alive after many practice sessions and races.

does anyone know if the g4s and mongoose stock spur gears and pinions have the same amount of teeth?

I have both but I am too lazy to get up and check

also anyone think I should completely disassemble my mongoose and use the parts for the g4s or keep it as a basher and buy spares for the g4s?

I have a rs4 rtr but that car is about 10 years old and I really dont run it anymore and I think I should keep the mongoose as a basher.

i dont mind spending the money for the spares I just dont know if I should disassemble the mongoose its tough.

also anyone find crash kits anywhere yet?

A mongoose actually makes a pretty good spares car for a G4S, that's why I have one NIB. The only other parts you might need are the steering rack, chassis or radio deck.

i took the trust bearing off the mongoose, the mugen spring, the clutch spacers for now for extras.

but I mena at $150 a kit which provides pretty much everything u need that isnt a bad price, i mean u can always sell the radio trays if U can find anyone who wants them.

Mazda 3 is a great body.
Great downforce all around.
On tight tracks it gives good steer while the rear stay firm,
And on Long track , snip 1/8inch off the rear wing and you'll get greater
aerodynamics for the straight and little or no oversteer in the sweeper.
And this I tested recently.

Charles your rear may be swinging out because your braking too hard and all the wieght of the car goes to the front on matter how soft your rear springs are. I remember you having the same problem last year.
Loosen your brakes alittle, you'll see a major difference. Even an 1/8 of a turn on the brake Pad Screws will make a major difference.
Braking tension should always be part of your setup routine.
Try it and let me know.

Ciao! Angelo

Wll yes another body, but trying this so called Dodge Stratus shell - went for the All Mighty Metalic Green, Like Patto say's shall blend nice in the Grass LOL!!!

Few changes to car:

New Front FlyWing G4+

New Front ED Trans conversion to Old style with C-Clip Hard Pulley Side Belt pulley 27T and inner front belt pulley 19T, the reason was due to the ED trans breaking on me as a result of a weak point and from Muppets Idea this made more sense to purchase as it will work the same as the ED trans!

Plus trying the red shoe UFO, see if i can get a meet out of it!!!

Plus some New GRP tires - mmmh they do look nice!!!

Overal i have made the wheel base to 255 whick is rather shorter than what i had before of 260mm!

No tests has been done yet but will report back next saturday as then i have a chance to test the cars abilty!

Here are some pics of the new transformation!

Enjoy

Watch out with those GRP Spoke tyres, The spokes break and bend in easily
if you hit anything.

Hey, I know that GRP tires look cool on circuit. ...... especially when running in front of spectators , they look really

I'm sure you are experienced drivers so you can use GRP tires with thin spokes.

Didnt have much time to prep for this weekends club meet since iv been very busy.
I managed to get all my gear together and get down to the track this morning. In the rush forgot my fuel bottle and starter box but no train smash the guys helped out at the track.

Traction was really bad in the first round and teh guys decided to sugar the track again before the second round.
Was much better afterwards.
I qualified 6th in Amain which was Ok as i had a flame out.
In the final i got up to 2nd and started chasing the no1 guy also opening up from the rest of the field only to flame again before my stop.
During the 15min final i flamed 3 times and managed to pull of a 4th.
Figured problem was i was using a 7 heat range plug.
Car was a bit twitchy but tolerable from the lack of traction and again the spool setup worked better than the diff setup.
