※ if you try it, you must cut brake pad holder (left one, near to brake pully)
because brake pad hoder little touched with brake disk.
I see you have done some kinde of brake pad mod.
What kind of brake pads do you use?
For me, it seems, original brake pads somehow lose performance and brake trimer needs to be adjusted every this and than

JanisK,

You are correct. The current brake set-up does fade over the course of a race and you have to continually increase the brake trim for the brake to bite. When the pads heat it, it looses grip. I have the Kfactory brake disk, and I still have brake fade. Next step is to get the Kfactory brake pads.

"REAL BRAKE PADS" for Kfac, are very good but tricky to use. You must play with the trim during racing and needs some heat for good brake power.

I tried mugen teflon pad, but I don`t like te feeling of it.

Have fun

Anyone tried a 2way front diff and 30W dif oil in the rear?

What are the characteristics of this change?

Thinking of trying it this weekend

does anyone know which brand or part no. for the brake cam, by the part no. of 502197, the round cam attached to the brake lever, which is used for locking up the brake pads? i think mine is worn out, coz currently my brake lever need to go a larger distance before brake will have effect? thus the cup fall off now and then. i remember Razzor told me that he changed his to a longer one. coz i just fitted my KF Real brake pads, but braking is still not very strong. any help would be highly appreciated.

1. PLS minimize the interval between 2 brake pad

2. paint bearing oil to brake cam shaft whole
and then.. no wear out... it will be shining

The Duro 2nd spur gears are a thicker heavier nylon gears. We have had cases of the 2nd spur gears stripping. This thicker gear should help solved this problem. Because the gear is thicker the hole where the housing fits is smaller. So we have a smaller housing and smaller shoes to make this system work. Everything on the 1st spur gear will remain the same with the gears and the one way.

I think their may be an added value to these gears as well. With the 2nd gear housing being smaller and thus smaller shoes, we have made these items lighter and these are rotating mass items as well. I haven't had a chance to weigh the combination of the 2nd spur gear, housing and shoes against each other, however when I recieve all the parts I will do that and let everyone know.
