My car was changing to second to quickly and that obviously places extra strain on the clutch shoe!
I the first heat of the club race someone mentioned to me that he thinks my 2 speed is switching over to quickly!

I tightened the 2nd gear and a whole day of racing and the shoe is still fine!

IT SHOWS NEVER TO OLD TO LEARN!!!!!

Has anyone had issue with the screws on their 2 speed being to long to get proper adjustment? It was shifting too soon so I gave each screw a half turn. The car refused to shift after that. disassembly revealed that the threaded end of the screw was protruding from the shoe and scored the 2 speed housing. Obviously the answer to the prob would be to use a shorter screw but I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Congradulations to Ben Puterbaugh for taking First place in the B main of the Midwest Series first race of the season I believe. This is Ben's "FIRST" race with the G4S. Just wait for Ben to get to know the car and use some power to make it do everything the G4S is capable.

Congradulations to Tony Cope - British Menance - (I think the UK kicked him out) and we luckily got him here because he finished in 8th place in the B main also at the Midwest Series race. Looking through the heat results which Tony won a few of his heats, his pace also wasn't very far off the top boys in this Series.

New car?... Yep there could and would be one in the future for the G4S. This car is a winner and some updates to the kits and some for the car are due and will be well tested for all of us racers. Team Magic knows they have a winner in the G4S and TM just plans to keep it up there and even surpassing the rest! We have the most underated car on the market. So tell your friends and fellow racers now is the time to jump on board and take the next higher step in their racing level. This is like the commercial for DLP for HP TV's where the blond says, I don't know what it is??.. .. But I want it!!! Get your fellow racers to want it so they can find out what it is!!!!!!!!! lol

OK a commercial for G4S, but did you guys expect anything else from me!

For the post above mine, yes you cut those 2 speed screws I believe 2mm. I know there were post earlier about this not very long ago. I haven't done it for a while and I am not near my notes , so if 2mm is wrong would someone jump in and correct me. I am looking to have an addendum put in the kit boxes with the building tips included. Most are small by nature but big when out there running the car.

Later
Sam

Forgot to mention that Raceday Hobbies proudly sponsors Ben Peterbaugh! Great Job Ben!!! That 1st place finish could be good for a set of front and rear tires of the world famous K Factory tires!

Yes, on the two speed screws. They need to be less than 15mm.
The kits now seam to come with the shorter screws in them.

Thanks Sam. Ben had a good race in the B to win.
I made a mistake and came off on the main straight, to be T boned at full speed!
The G4s got up and could still run, but wasnt the same and I couldn't finnish the race.
The other guy unfortunately, broke the front of his car and DNF. Sorry.

I guess that was a durability test for the car??!

Just like to say that Ben was unlucky not to qualify for the A main as I was in that rain interupted our 3rd qualier on Saturday where I think Ben and possibly myself would have gained an A final spot. A tall order maybe, but alas not to be......... maybe next time.

That is right the engine was running a whee bit hot! (260F) after adjusting the 2 speed it came down to (210F).

The club race went well!
The G4S ROCKS! I took the finals with 2 laps! (and the top guys did not messed their races!)
With little time and only a NATS and the past club race with the car i am sold on it!
THANKS TO YOUR SUPPORT AND ADVICE (and for sponsoring me) even being 1600km away from me!

Default milyang mayor cup race movie

i participated milyang mayor cup race in yesterday.

i got TQ.. But my engine flamed out in A-main final --;;

the A-main final was 10 minutes race..

so i could not recover 3 lap loss..

i finished the race as 8th.

recently.. my engine frequently flamed out in A-main Final.

so i inspected my all engine relation parts.

finally i found the trouble..

exactly.. it was the additional backpressure chamber.

i opened chamber.. and it's hole was stopped by fuel oil.

so after refueling time, engine's temperature was some high..

and because of backpressure resistance.. engine did not receive fuel..

so.. now.. i removed my chamber..

you can see A-main final movie by this link.

the milyang circuit is very dumping high circuit..

and very high tire wear circuit.

i used 37 tire in front(left, right), and rear left was 40 tire,

rear right was 37 tire.
