Hey Razzor, i had tried the std setting, the outer top hole. not enough steering. i have now played with it and the inner middle setting seems to work very well, lots of on power steering. hope this helps

Just built my G4S kit. Was wondering if any of you guys had any problem with the ball cups binding up in the steering?

You are doing awesome revo523! I'm glad your enjoying it. Dude, the more you play, the more creative you will get. It gets to a point that you start getting confused what to do because you have every option your mind can dream of. You can end up painting with your imagination being the only limit. It's a BLAST for sure. Keep up the good work bro!

Patto I am running the shorter wheelbase and with the front upper arm set to lower outer hole its turning awesome.
Actually surprised me with good balance running the 38 front and 40 rear tyres.Also changed the rear/inner/upper link to the upper hole and its much better and stabil than the lower hole.
Mugen sway bar also is a big plus

Im off to the track now and will be trying a narrower front end to see what it does.

Post findings later.

Always good to see another kit in the mix. Welcome.

Just squeeze the ball cups a little with some pliers while they are attached to the balls. This will free them up. Only do it a little at a time though as it is easy to go overboard.

sorry i must have misunderstood, i thaught your previous post said the std setting on the front which was the top outer hole, i too have shortened my wheelbase and find the car much better to drive now with the gain of heaps of initial turn in. while onpower steering is still very nice indeed. i also found i could go 42 shore fronts with 40 rears and still have enough steering in reserve. hope your testing went well today for the rear i run top inner hole and no shims on the outer hub. grip is still very nice on the rear with a shorter wheel base as well, but not having the mugen sway bar just std swaybars set to 90deg on the rear, and soft on the front.

Sorry patto just starts getting confusing playing with all these settings.
been playing with clutch on new Axial 12RR and getting the tune sorted.
Almost there now.
Track was a bit green today as it rained this morning.
Car ran very well and then I changed to 42 fronts and 35 rears and car was all over the place ,changed back to 40/38 setup and viola awesome to drive.
Noticed its still a bit hard on the front and will have to look at that.

Rear inner upper link made a huge difference though and will keep it like that ,I am running 2 shims on the outer hub.
Going to the track tomorow again ,forgot its a holiday tomorrow.
Try and get some more runs.

Default serpent korea cup.

i participated serpent korea cup in suwon circuit.

the serpent works driver sahashi brothers was very fast.

i think that sahashi did very tight engine setting.

suwon circuit is very long highway circuit.

so very tight engine setting can do engine failure in 30 minutes race.

i had 2nd position in 1,2,3 Heat.

one of sahashi brother had TQ position, and other sahashi had 7th position.

my excellent pitman guy did not participated in the race (he had a trip in japan)

so i requested another guy.. but he is beginner in pitwork.. never used fuel gun.. --;;

so i teached pitman how to use fuel gun, and tested it.

but in testing.. fuel was overflowed. my receiver was wet.. --;;;

i worried about fuel overflow.. but i thought it was no problem.

in A-main Final.. i passed sahashi TQ guy in first corner.

and i had top position.. But the A-main Final race is stopped.

Because one of A-main racer AMB Personal Transponder is not checked. --;;

it was me!!!

because fuel wet in receiver... contact jack was badness.

so i changed AMB house Transponder .

A-main Race is restarted.

i run 2nd position about 3-4 minute about 1 corner difference with sahashi.

then.. sahashi 720 turn upside down by step zone.

so i passed sahashi. and got top position!!!!

But my G4s Throttle servo was stopped in 31 lap --;;

and flamed out.

But.. Throttle servo was run after several seconds.

so i started again...

But Throttle and steering servos was all stopped in backstraight end point in 56 lap.

my G4S go ahead into fence. and crashed. --;;;

front knukle arm,muffler was broken.. so i retired. --;;

receiver fuel wet problem caused my retire. --;;

and.. one of sahashi's 720 broken engine conrod.

and another sahashi's 720 had trouble engine.

so they also retired.

i will try receiver protect project.. ^^

i missed serpent korea cup race.

But kawahara cup will be held in korea in next week with ten of japanese racer.

i will try my best in kawahara cup.

you can see A-main Final Movie in this site. (about 5 minute)
