Good practicing Asil ,the saying goes "practice makes perfect"
I got a few tanks threw my car yesterday afternoon and was very happy with setup.Need a few tweeks and get a good tune on the Axial12RR.
PR12 is flying.
Today will be going to practice again and do some tweeking on the rear to stop it bouncing on the bumps.Car has great steering and balance at the moment.

Running 60wt shock oil with 1.3mm pistons all round
Turquoise front springs .pink rear ,might go blue in front as the pink rears are fairly soft.
maybe softer shock oil on rear.
Mugen sway bar is so much better too ,a definate mod to consider

Ill post a setup sheet shortly.

Buy new front bearing for your particular engine..... I just did it today. BTW, you need somebody who has the right tool to open front bearing.

Have experienced this with newer engines and is usually too rich bottom.
You can expect some leakage on most engines.

Default HMMM

Hey guys I found this on a web site and wondering if this is correct.I have been checking my engine temp and it is roughly siting on 117degrees but i feel this my be a bit too hot for my LL3.I have been recommended running it around 110 degrees from other racers at my local track but they run the LS3.Im not saying that they are wrong im just curious and worried cause i dont want to cook my lovely engine.

"The LL3 will have a torquier feel than the LS3. The LS3 powerband comes on smoother than the LL3. THe LS3 is happier at high revs than the LL3. LL3 can be a little trickier to tune and seems to run slightly warmer than the LS3. Overall performance - I would say both are similar, just different power bands. Both are extremely fast."

motor is only bout 3 months old and only had 2 racedays and bout 4 practise days.I only have noticed the leak after i had burnt all fuel out of engine and put after run oil in it.It had sat there for 24 hours when i noticed a little puddle of after run oil bout the size of a 10cent piece on my new entertainment unit(misses wasnt happy)

Guys dont ever use stainless steel screws ,they have bling but break easy.
Besides using titanium screws i dont see the need to change the screws on the G4S as they are good quality.
There not Titanium thou:

Our screws are made of the highest quality black oxide alloy steel (grade 12.9 metric & grade 8 standard). Today's R/C vehicles demand the strongest materials on the market. Stainless steel screws look nice and resist rust, but they just can't withstand the abuse we are putting on them. No one wants a DNF (did not finish) because they broke a cheap screw. Nor do they want to replace their screws every time they take apart their car because the screw heads strip.

I have to say SerpantD got me onto him and apparantly he is making the order or kit as we speak... best thing to do is email him for interest and see if he can hook us up LOCO STYLLES!!!

cheers
