Hey Paul,

The outdives from the one way wont fit. You nead to get the same as goes in the rear diff' ass'.
Better to get the lightened ones,
K14125

Or the stronger then stock, K14101

Either are a great upgrade.

the diameter is about 50mm~60mm..

if the race tournament of rule is strict, i used 50mm

But others, i used 60mm for protection against heat.

attached pic is 60mm diameter.

and i always remove back window all for protection against heat. ^^

Id suggest starting with one of Darren Johnsons setups.
It will get you close and then you can play around the setup to get comfortable.Setup sheets are on TM website and 3hobby.net

Kodak maybe an idea to collect and place setup sheets on your blog ,one stop G4s resource

They would work but gearing would be a lot taller/longer.

another ED pinion problem.
on sunday i had a good setup, happy with the gearing.
but while i had a chance,m i thaught i would get a start on some testing for the next sunday on a tighter track. so i put on my 15t pinion, one i had problems with before, as i stated. so i meshed same as i normally do, and on the out lap, the spur stripped. the heat started and i was changing my 1st spur to try once more. not even half a lap, again on the out lap, stripped 1st gear. so i look at the way the gears are cut, and definately more harsher cut and like a hack saw blade. now this is 4 spurs i have stripped with this pinion. so i will not use it and am tempted to throw it in the bin. i know some of you guys have used the 15t pinion, but seriously i havent been able to test the life of the pinion due to the short life of the spurs. maybe i have a faulty cut ? but not happy !

I have been running the 15t ED pinion from day one with a 52t spur and have not had any hassles. In fact I stripped my first spur gear last weekend when I forgot to tighten my motor screws.
Have to aggree wear on the pinions is a issue but at least I am getting 4/5 meetings out of them.My std 19t pinion used to wear out faster believe it or not.

As Gansei has pics to show ,from that i can say that the wear is exagerated on the smaller pinions for both 1st and 2nd gear .

Patto theres got to be a reason !
Maybe the batch that your spurs came from had a issue.
Or maybe there is play on the 2 speed and clutch bell.
Or maybe you need to mesh tighter.
could be anything.

ill have a look at my car and see if I can think of anything .
Thats what we here for
