Hello. I think it's Zoom that uses the engine. I just got one, but could not test yet, I lost the clutch nut while doing the exchange ... (Don't ask how, I don't know also!!!! *@#[email protected]#* ...)

Well, you should go to the Orion CRF threat here in RCTEch, we talked a lot about the G4S there too.

omg i got ripped off, my kit is missing foams .....

lol

thanks I sorta was part of the community since I had a Mongoose, but now I have a new car.

umm what foams are good? I was looking at the kfactory tires since raceday has them for fairly cheap, are they any good?

also as for the engine and pipe, its prob gonna be a JLR "Red-Dot" and Skyline VR12 Plus pipe.

and the body I don't know I really like the madza 6 but already have one, and the stratus which is prob the best looking body I don't really like, but i might end up going with the Stratus.

I have 2 questions, does the G4S have the little hole on the clutch bell for tuning without removing the clutch bell? and do the pivot balls have the little nylon washers for smother operation?

K factory foams are good.

JLR "red Dot" with skyline pipe is a killer combo. I have it in my G4S and it is faster than my OS TZ modified like an Os Speed....you can't go wrong with it....now if you wan't an extra edge you can get at Raceday the IDM Picco Modified with IDM pipe...it's like the "red dot" but more modded...can't go wrong with it either.

Best body for the G4S is the Stratus 3.1...it is the most balanced..the Mazda 6 can have to much steering in certain conditions.

No, the std. UFO clutch bell has no hole for regulation. The one that comes with the ED does.

Yes pivot balls come with nylon inserts. Didn't you assemble the car allready?? You must've seen them.

The theory behind the ED Transmission System is to slow the speed of the transmission components and main shaft down. If you use the stock system, the Final Drive Ratio is 2.526. If you use the ED System, the Final Drive Ratio is 2.190, and because we are slowing the main shaft and all of the transmission components down, we have to gear the engine lower.

The transmission is the heaviest rotating part of the car and it takes the most power to spin it up and down between gears, and so it eats power (Inertia is the enemy). If we don't spin it up as high between gears, itís all free power that is not wasted spinning up excess rotating inertia.

The difference between 2.526 and 2.190 FDR is several thousand less rpm on the main shaft between each acceleration and deceleration of the transmission. Top end improves, but sharpness also improves out of corners.

Also the clutch bell & pinions are very light & very small (Standard kit pinions & bell weight about 13g, the new ED weight only 6g).

Raceday has them for $125.00

but 1 thing bad about ED is that its pinion is so easily damaged, compared to stock. i guess maybe its teeth is lesser, thereby easily to strip. i ran for 2 weeks, and the 1st pinion is almost gone. so now, i dun use the ED, cause the 2nd pinion is expensive.

i found that non ED system is much more powerful. m using 18/52, 23/47, with 18T brake pulley, 18T rear side belt pulley & 27T front side belt pulley.
1st speed ratio : 7.7037, 2nd speed ratio : 5.4492, 1st/2nd : 1.4137, ODR : 1.0
