I figure it's cheating to use a pre-made decal, if I was going down that road I would just use the internal graphics. I did a body like that before and of course it turned out good. But this time I was just trying to extend my skills a little. Everything seen in the pic was all done with hand made masks. Obviously there are no stickers on there yet.

As for the blue, I like blue.

then id be the same in that boat, i am so no good with airbrush detail as i dont have a steady hand!!! its nver easy trying something out of the hat!!! i had got my idea from the paintshop section on RCTECH, spent house looking at all designs and found one colour combo that worked!!1

Its PINK + Black, thou ill cop it on Sunday LOL

Looks good to me Zoom. The part that I can't figure out is how these pro painters cut such straight lines when needed and such smooth flowing curves when they are needed in the liquid mask they've sprayed. I mean I can cut a staight line in masking tape I have on a piece of glass outside the body and then tranfer the mask to the body. I use a ruler, but these guys do it freehand inside the body. I guess some are born with more art talent than others. I'm one of the others

But I did receive another goodie in the mailbox today. I ordered the new Ninja 12 from Team Kamikaze on Friday and I have it today. Awesome service Mr. Sim. I haven't had much time with it, but the quality thus far appears excellent.

I bought from Team Kamikaze for $329 shipped. I've never owned a Ninja branded engine, but outer appearance seems on par with any other I've owned, including all the Nova based. I plan on looking at the internals later tonight before I install the clutch and get it mounted on an extra motor mount. If I see anything worth noting I'll snap a pic.

Greetings All G4s's.
Just finished building mine. Must say the out of box instructions were very easy to follow. No major issues so far. All I need is engine pipe, wheels and body and oh yes rx.

Nothing has been setup yet.
Is it normal that when the arms lay down that the springs are loose? ie no preload. The shock is adjusted as per book.

Hi and welcome to the family jerseyboy.

On the subject of your shocks................have you set your 'down-stop'screws yet? If not, then this may well take the 'loosness' out which you have.

Engines & pipes.............. it really depends. How much you want to spend and what your going to be doing with the car.
Are you planning on racing? Locally?
There are a fewof really good motors out there now ranging from $175 to $450
Check out,
Racedayhobbies.com
and go to the engine section. Sam has a really good selection at good prices.

I got my race motor from him, a NovaRossi 12-3CT with a Rossi pipe too. Wicked......

See what you think....

Bodies........ The Stratus 3.1 is still a very good body. Of the new ones, checkout the Altis, the Mazda 3 and the Mazda 6. All cool. I presume you going for touring car?

Hey Guys H E L P is required please,

Ok i have installed the new 4mm chasis,

New Speed Shot Front end,

New Carbo Bumper Support

New ED Trans

Also New Mugen steering cup ends and shock ends, pivot ball type,

Problem is this:

I had lossen both the sway bars right off rear and front, now when i push down on the left rear corner the front right lifts off the ground

took the front shocks off and something feels like its rubbing, but cant work it out, the only problem i think it might be is the new Mugen End Bits

WHAT else could it be?

cheers guys

Dude, that is sweet bro. I have been trying to find some sort of reamer like that myself. Is that a regular drill bit or is it a special bit for reaming? Where can I find that reamer you have? Thanks bro. By the way, sweet vid!!! Later.
