BROOOOOO! Dude, sorry but I am a bit confused with your "address" comment? But no man, I have everyones address. Maybe it's what I didn't explain very well about IM and stuff. When you guys IM me, sometimes I don't realize that my messanger is of at home but alive and well at my office when I am not there. Just didn't want you to think that I was ignoring you or anyone that tries to IM me.

Anyway. Dude, I need to FINISH painting that darn body. I am going to finish that thing up since I keep getting distracted. Kids, gotta love em! So my next post will be the finished product all attached to my G4S monster!!! I will only cross my fingers that I don't have another interuption. JESUS!!! Sorry guys, I am in a bit of an attitude. Won't bring it here though. I'm just upset that my race buddy and good friend was suppose to send some of my race equipment Including my 1:8th scale car and M11 radio 2 weeks ago! Then UPS messed something up soposedly and I still don't have my crap. So yes I am a little testy.

Moving right along...Menace, you should share those setup sheets for us all to see so we can get a better Idea at what's up and can point you in the right direction. All I can say for sure is to start with 42 tires all the way around. Talk with you soon guys! Later.

PS. if this is old news what I have posted, please disregard as I have not read all the recent posts.

Serpentd use iether Darrens johnsons setup or Dario ballestri's setup for the worlds as a guideline for a high bite track.
Also on low to medium tracks I found Darrens UK setups to be a great starting point.

Dario setup worlds :

Darrens Johnson setups ,a few to choose from :

next to the setups the clutch is the most important tuning factor.
The key at the moment is the 1.8mm black clutch spring.

Wow razzor, thank you very much for the heads up my friend! I'm inbetween coats of paint so it's ok to play right now.

I will go through those set ups and see where I am at with my car before race day!! WOO HOO! Shucks bro, I have so much stuff to organize by the weekend it isn't even funny. So you posting those helps out VERY MUCH. Thank you bro!

As far as your 1 (ONE) color paint jobs, dude what is that about? Especially after you have shown us that you have skill in the paint department. I know, not enough time. I hear that a million times. Plus I can relate as this body has got over 10 hours in it now. Mostly because I am trying to learn this Faskolor. I need to practice a bunch with it as I am not very happy with this body I am working on. Not to mention a few airbrush issues. Anyway, you need to step it up a few notches my friend. Go ahead and play with like 2 or even 3 colors bro. You know as well as I do that you can even get an awesome job done with spray cans. But yes you do need to use a bit of masking tape as well.

Sorry to mess with you bro, my brain is just falling out is all. OK. Back to the spray booth. Later bro!

somewhere in this forum it was written;

Low to medium grip tracks............... Try 100,000Wt Front, 5-10,000Wt rear.
Medium to High grip tracks .............. Try 50,000Wt Front, 20-30,000Wt rear.

I've ordered front gear diff, too IMO, start with 100.000 Wt front. In my serpent 710, 100.000 front gave good results..

cheers..

Hey paul,

when you try with the PINS out give yourself at least half a day practise, take you time to learn it as its totally differant to drive!!

Few things you will notice:

More Steering,
Less brake
The control of the streering will be more responsive

just a few things that you will notice straight up!!

i wont be up for prac on Saturday as my car is in bits for new parts, but i can ret assure ill be there next saturday testing with all the crazy mods coming next week!!!

Good luck and get us feed back onthe ED bro looking forward to this!!!

Hey all,

I've been trying to catch up. Always so much on here. I don't like to miss anything.

Serpentd........... Razzor was good enough to give some helpful advise and to send me Dario's "World Championship" set up he ran at Brisbane.
Also Patto was also good enough to send me his set-up he uses.

I can try and post either or both on here if people want it and if thats ok with Patto?

I say try cause like I've said before, I'm on a work pc so there are lots of restrictions as to what you can down load. So I may have to type them out for you. Let me know if you'd like them on here.

I've done something similar with my diffs ASL. I have two front diff's, one with 100,000WT and one with 50,000WT.
For the rear I've got a 10,000 , 20,000 and a 30,000WT rear diffs' ready to try.
(Well seeing as our cars are equiped with easy access and 'quick release' front and rear diffs' . I thought this would save time )

Thankyou Razzor.....you beat me to it.

I don't have the mugan rear anti-roll bar which Dario uses. I've gone for using the Mugan Front blade type and modifying the mounts to suit.
Does anyone have the Mugan spring rates. In lb/inch if possible.Thanks.

yes, you must cut holes in the windows for air flow otherwise the engine will build up too much heat!
here's a couple of pics of what i mean.
60mm hole in the front window for legal size. ( I cut mine into the centre of the front window to balance the airflow around the car)
double the size of the front window for the rear one.
you can also cut out the front side windows too if temps where you live are high.
P.S. Make sure that all the corners of window cutouts are round , not square as the cracks / splits usualy start at a square corner of the cut out
Sory to post my Mugen photos but these are the only ones i have that show all the window cutouts
