i thank Edith for this and is the reply i was after in the first place. not to be belittled in what im doing or not doing. thankyou TM and Edith.
Dude, that is Awesome you found the part. It's wierd though, I have never heard of a screw comming loose and parts falling off of a car before. Bro, I think that you are the ONLY one this has happened to. OF coarse you know I am just messing with you man!

Honestly bro, that part you are talking about (I hope it's the part I am thinking of) the screw that holds the spur gears on the shaft? This is the ONLY car I have seen this on. All of the cars I have ever owned and even not owned have a C clip there. So even as I was assembaling my car, this section for sure caught my eye. Thank you very much for the heads up bro. I will have to triple check that bad boy before Sunday. Remember, that's my first race. I remember thanks to a special someone!

Okee Dokee. I am trying to paint and keep getting side tracked. I have the chorme down and the black (which isn't much) so of to the paint booth! Chat soon my friend!!!

Dude, Sweet! But I think a few others on here might need that info. I am getting ready to paint the flames on the side of the car I'm doing now. I keep changing my mind on the color. DAMN IT!! I'll figure it out. I wanted to go with a pearl white with color change of a purple faded back into a deep purple. I'll probably play around on a scap piece to see if that's going to give me the effect that I am after. Thanks for the heads up on that body though. Because I do race with the 3.1. Dude, now that I think about it I actually might get a few so I don't need to stress about getting bodies done. I have his site open now, so might jump on that bro. Thanks for the heads up. Plus I need to check my inventory to see what I might need for the weekend. Thank God that he is super man with shipping!!! Talk soon bro! Later.

calling Adelaide crew - i require a rear alloy sway bar holder " grub screw is stuck in and we have tried everything to get it out, but the screw is so hardened from drilliing its not good!!!

I have two options, glue it in place with sway bar in position or if the lads who i know have a spare one let me know!!

i think the grub screw is a bit risky if you slip the once when its tight, so next time round ill have a long rounded hed screw as there is plenty of room for error

In the TM screw box the B5 rounded hex screw fits beautiful this will prevent futre errors and the hex is on the outside of hole in safe zone - already installed in my other good side!!!

Dude, yes my first race in on Sunday as long as the Sun Gods treat us well this week. Dude, my flames are nothing impresive. I am going for simple here. I took a pic but it's very difficult to see because of where I am at on the painting. I went with this pearl white with purple in it faded into a deep purple. You can sort of see the chrome stripe I put around the car. I did a tad of shading behind the chrome next to the flame to help separate it more. The front of the car is going to be Flourescent Yellow. the rest of the car is going to be Flourescent orange with a yellow and black wing. I plan on shading the flames to give them a 3-D effect. It should look pretty good once it's done. It's taking me awile because I am using that Flascolor. I am too use to lacquer and this stuff is VERY different to spray with the airbrush. You need to crank the PSI up to 70. I usually spray my lacquer around 25 PSI. But I want to get familiar with this paint so I can try all the different colors that they have. So this is sort of like starting from scratch. I would probably be done with the whole body if I was using lacquer. The reason I ended up using Flascolor is because you need to back the chrome with a water base black. The chrome is pretty time consuming too due to the fact you need to do about 5 thin coats, then 2 black backer coats. So I decided to stick with water base paint since I have about 50 bottles of the stuff. The colors are very brilliant, although not seen by the photo. I will use my SLR digital for the next shots instead of my wifes compact digital.

I've just been all side tracked tonight too with me going nuts trying to get sorted for the race. I still need to break in an engine. I am waiting for UPS to get my 1:8th scale, M11 radio and tons of racing crap to my house that was suppose to show up last Friday. This is just turning out to be a very hectic week already and it's barely Tuesday. I'm trying out these new Meds that my pain specialist gave me last Thursday and my body is trying to get use to them. I get these inconsistant ups and downs with them. He has me on Morphine sulfate, Percocet, Tramadol and Soma. I told you about my neck and back right? Well I have a fusion in my neck which is basicaly a titanium rod screwed into my vertabre due to 3 ruptured discs there. I found out a few months ago that I have a new ruptured disc below the fusion and two ruptured discs in my Lumbar section of my lower back. Dude, it's A LOT of pain!. But I'm sticking it out as I always have. I've had back problems for over 10 years. I had my neck surgery 2 years ago. This is why I quit racing ATV's. Now I just go bashing them around on the track or trails in the mountains. Still like racing, only no checkered flag. My surgeon gets pissed!

Wow dude, sorry for the life history update. Where the hell did that come from? Must be bed time! Heres a few not so good pics, but will finish this beast tomorrow and post a few more. Talk with you ALL then. Later guys!!!

This forum just gets funnier by the hour

Maybe I should just bring up all the old mods again and claim them as my own, knowing full well I got them from elsewhere. It could be entertaining

If only words made the car faster

Serpentd, as a fellow back sufferer, maybe do some research into these new replacement disks. My ortho is giving them a big thumbs up. A dude I know has had it done in his neck and he is singing the praises. Sorry to be off topic in the forum.

Dude, words do make the car faster. I have called my car many names until it behaved! Other then the last 5 pages, what seems so funny ZOOM? I'm in another world so to speak due to my funky ass sleep paterns. So I must have missed another good one. Damn dude, with my old age and all the drugs they have me on, you need to spell it out for me bro!

By the way, what old mods are you talking about? Another question ZOOM, on a serious note, what would be a good starting point for a high bite track. I don't know of the smothness yet because we are racing at a parking lot I have never been to. We use a tear down track for our club unlike your guys awesome permanent tracks. But I would imagine it will be fairly smooth. This question is for both me and a friend of mine. I appreciate you input as well as anyone else out there. Thanks tons guys! Later.

i didnt know you knew everything of GOD RC - let other have there ideas, nothing wrong trying new things!!!

we all so dont want to be like you do we 'no NO no" - anyway's if you wont contribute ideas dude, then lets not trigger comments towards others not naming names but trying to make others feel crap only make you more of "DICK"!

One thing i cant stand is others not RESPECTING others ways!!! Golden rule is you treat people the way they will treat you back!!! its how the world comes around and goes around!

Sounds like you are a bit of a black sheep dude, and i have monitored how you have posted, thrown a few sly remarks towards forum memebers and vise versa!!

yes the forum gets funnier, but we are all helpping each other out, soon as there is an attack you act on it - too me this is childish and really not acceptable, especially when everyone here is good for help!

Dont take this as a bad thing ZOOM, i just think your an idiot at times and really should look at who is laughing at ya man "YOU".

What ever your plans and idea are, please feel free to share in a positive way, not just smart arse little jesters, to me its like ya want fire!

Anyways its up to you what you want to be like, but i hope you do think before you speak man!!

Its starting to piss me off a little in the forum where as a community we offer help and suppport!

Little mind games at others - where is the point of it? MMmhhh thought about it no where really!!!

Good luck with marriage, and racing, but id say play it fair on here and on track!! Just remebr its a FUN sport aswell and the more fun you have others will follow!!

As for the community of G4s crew, sorry to flame i could have done this in a PM, but its going a bit far fetch to the point that i had to step in and lay some law "Gets book out writes notes down for future"
