When I wrote the original post about the heat shrink, the attached picture is more what I had in mind. This is the way I do mine and it has served me well.

As for the Orion engine, it holds the qualifying record for 5 mins around our track here in WA. I have included a pic of mine as well.

Buy an Orion engine, they come with the plugs!! I think you can also buy these plugs from Mugen. I'm pretty sure I bought a set once. Also keep an eye out whenever you're in the hardware store, you never know what you find.

The shock parts are in the teflon solution to keep them happy in between rounds. Suspension makes a car fast, not the engine as we all know.

I run the same shock setup that patto does (since I did his shocks when they were in the former owners hands). And springs are a day to day proposition. Usually somewhere around Team Magic aqua front and TM pink rears. Oill is always Associated 40wt all around.

Dude, just woke up and late for work. Oh well. Dude, those plugs are in hardware stores and such. They are origanally used as "Bolt Protectors" as they come in many sizes. For example the one on your antenna is a small bolt protector or bolt cap. They are used to slip over the end of a bolt to protect people from getting scratched by the bolt so too speak. Sort of like on a kids swing set. You put these "Bolt caps" on for protection the kids. Now that you know where they ariginated from, maybe you'll know of a store in you area that has this sort of thing. Maybe bro, I can keep a list of this little stuff you NEED and send you a gift package. oh and another thing <[email protected]&$___098="?$8**%jdi+,.
That Mr. MaDaGAS CAR would be code. Dude, just messin with ya.
LATER BRO!!!!

Hey Zoom, this teflon solution, what does this excactly do? i am keen to know the benefits, plus on how often should i check oil in shocks as i have noticed the rebound of the shocks dont bounce back as it first did. "Note' this is with the springs out"!!!

Cheers Again,

Some good tips, are always great tips!!

wow u guys stay up late last nite on this forum huh. keke..

anyway, here is a few question:
1. do you guys put grease at the front universal, drive cup and the dog bone?? i noticed tat on my EP car, we need to put at both ends, but in GP, most of my frenz didn't use grease at all.

2. i also noticed that at the time of filling up the shock oil, the shock push out all the way, but the next day, i remove from the car and test it, it just wouldn't protude out that much (car just sleeping on the next, not running), so i was wondering how often u guys refill the oil. do u remove the old dirty oil or just filled it up? and whats the frequency of changing.
