OK I'm a new convert to the G4s. Does anyone have a part # for a front diff? also looking for a rough spring selection for med grip parking lot racing. Thanks

Yeah, Bobby is currently 15th after two rounds.....the other drivers are Mike Blackstock and Chad Phillips with 20 lappers, and Mike Dumas with 14 and 8 laps...lets hope they all improve

Welcome GBagRAcing !

I got this to fit a gear diff:

Diff. Case and pulley set front & rear 502302 <- don't know if there is a package with only one case ...

4X10 mm shim, bevel shaft, gear set 502117
Diff joint, P5 o-ring, shim, pin 502116

ST Stell diff. Joint cup K14125 <- got this, stronger, but the 502116 have the standart one.

Thats it.

Dude, Ofna for sure up to 120K, you can also look for Mugen and Traxxas, however Ofna seems to be the main choice I have found. With me having over 4 or 5 brands, they all seem the same to me in everyway. Ofna just offers the highest viscosities.

I use serpent oil, anywhere from 10-40K in the rear usually 20K. I almost never run the front diff but when I do I have some Mugen oils in the 60-100 range that seem to work well.

I've had good success with the Dynamite filters, good protection and lots of air flow. They hold up fine and are not as restritive or heavy as some of the others.
