Default K-Factory Parts Testing

I got a chance to try some of the new K-Factory parts last wekend in Ft Myers.

UFO Clutch: This is simply the best clutch I ever ran. Bar NONE! I ran both the Steel Clutch Bell and the aluminum Clutch Bell. I spent some time assembling the clutch, and followed the direction to a T!! After running about 3/4 gallon of fuel through it, the clutch needed ZERO adjustment. It was perfectly consistant each and every time, and very responsive to adjustment. The clutch was the same from one tank to the next. I had almost no clutch shoe wear. The car seemed to accelerate just a hair faster with the aluminum bell, but the steel one was just fine too. This is a must have clutch system!! It's now standard equipment on the G4s. What an AWESOME clutch!!!! Please make sure when assembling the clutch that all parts have really smooth movement up and down on the flywheel pins. I always like to ream the clutch shoe and pressure plate holes ever so slightly with a 3mm drill bit. I do this with every clutch I've ever owned.

One piece motormount: It really seems to eliminate any possible chassis flex at the gears. I put on a new set of spurs and pinions when trying the new UFO clutch, and the gears all looked like new even after 3/4 gallon of fuel.

New Stainless K-Factory 2peed part: This part is the thing that the 2speed clutch shoes attach to, and the shaft the oneway rotates on. I loved this part. It made my two speed shift really crisply, and the oneway worked flawlessly!! Another very definate improvement.

Team Magic really did there homework on these new parts. These new parts are well thought out, and are much more than window dressing. They work!! I'm really excited about the new car.

Will the UFO clutch work on a MTX3?

Default UFO on MTX-3

My guess is it would not. I would stick with clutch systems designed for your car. Different clutch bell, different gears, etc etc etc.

Default MTX3

K Factory do now make the U.F.O clutch for the V1-RRR but that doesn't answer your question.

If you haven't found out for sure, let me know and I'll find out for you if either (G4 or V1-RRR clutch) will fit.
Ok ?

As of yet we don't have a combination to fit the MTX4 but I would not be suprised if we don't soon. Don't read into that that one is comming as the factory is pretty full of work right now.

Sure, why not? But he needs to love our products first, Team Magic fans. Otherwise, we are not interested.

Please pass us more information. Thanks.

The release date of the kit is taking forever, I know its jan.23 I'm just ready to start to building my kit so I can get some track time and post my results of the handling of the car along with other G4S owners.
