This is the adjusting nut that British Menace is talking about.
It's the part # from The manual and from KFactorys web site.
It screws down on to the clutch nut but whem you go to put the clutchbell on it won't slide down over the adjusting nut.

An error in my previous post.
Should read,

50t oil at 90 degrees (30C) is about the same as 55 to 60 wt at 70 degrees (20C)

Sorry for mystake. Blame it on the off shift work I'm into now.

well we normally use 0degree at front, and 45-90degree at rear. but i feel that 45degree at rear still the best.

0 degree - flat sway bar, perpendicular to the ground
90 degree - vertical to ground.

That sway bar setup seems to workm great for too.
I am keen to try the sway bar conversion like Gansei.

Hey Guys,

Well here it is after many weeks of hard work and patience its finally ready to test & tune.

The build has been great, i can honestly say if you ever get the chance to build a kit from ground up "JUST DO IT" its awesome to watch the transformation from boxes to the product we see.

Here are the pics...

Enjoy, BTW thanks to everyone on here for advice, and especially a good friend "Birdy" you are the best..

thanks man, yeah we have made the settings a little differant to suit our track here in Adelaide, South Australia.

setting s as follows:

Front Camber -2.5 L & R
Front Toe +0.5 each side + 1.0 Total
Front Sway Bar Front 90 degrees
Front Shock Spring TM Aqua 1.6
Front Shock Piston 1 hole standard other hole 1.5mm drilled
Front Oil TM 6000
Front Diff 1 Way Pins In
Front Shock tower loaction 3 from top
Front Caster 0

Rear Camber -3.0 L & R
Rear Toe -3.0 L& R
Rear Sway Bar 0 degrees
Rear Shock Spring TM Pink 1.4
Rear Shock Piston 2 x 1.5mm holes
Rear Oil TM 6000
Rear Diff Standard
Rear Shock Tower location 3 from top

Basically its a slippery track, and we hope to gain some grip using this setup, it may work it may not - only time can tell!

I ll post the updated feed back once test is done tomorrow!

Hope this helps other

Hi Kodak Hodak,
I've just had a brief look at your blog website and I must congratulate you on it. It is the most amazing insight into building any rc car never mind the GS4. I own a humble Kyosho Alpha GP3 which has never (yet !!) seen a track and I am having a few problems of my own, but that is another story. Your blog makes me just want to go out and buy a GS4 and start racing !!
Well done, and I hope you enjoy the car and have every success with it.
Regards,

Thanks man, really appericiate the kind words.... i thought if i going to build my first, well why not document it for all to see, its something i think every new comer wants to know how something is put together.

I had time on my sleeve to do the build and the blog, i guess its one way to look back on it and say it was new once

Well i hope you all enjoy it, still gotta now finish the blog off and get some footage to show case my poor driving..

Peace Out
Frankie
