this is a really silly question , but i just got my Spektrum from the US, and in the book it tells me nothing on what servo to use!!!

There is the following:

1 x Hgh Torque Servo - is this for Steering or throttle?

1 x Standard race Servo - is this for Steering or throttle?

i am sure its a simple answer!

Cheers

you can use a high speed servo on the trothle, and a high torque servo on the steering..
Or high speed high torque on both, i have two 9402 futaba servos, or the 94357 aitronics trothle or 94358 steering..

sorry for my poor english.

did you mean what part is between carbon front upper plate and wide bumper?

it is sponge normal bumper. but i cutted it.

But now.. i changed sponge bumper + wide bumper

i think sponge bumper protect body to be crushed.
sorry gansei
i meant the carbon fibre top support would i have to get that or will the stock top bummper support do the job

if you enjoy heavy breaking, pls use high torque servo in throttle.

anyway, steering servo is protected by servo saver.

and servo saver act very much in high speed corner.

so. the road surface resistance is high. high torgue servo do not best performance because servo saver.

Hi, Not much of an answer but it really depends on the track and grip levels, L (same as stock G4S) works well in the UK (low - medium grip) but we did use S at the worlds (high grip), its supposed to turn in a little sharper, and then a little less steering coming out of a corner. I havent tried the M position.

Its just a case of trying each and seeing what suits your track/driving style.

Good Luck.

Hi Frankie,

I dont think there will be room behind your throttle servo to run your leads as it may rub on the side of your tank, I would run them on top of the servo, then turn into the back of receiver box (engine side). I would use rubber grommets to keep them together, just a bit more flexible if you have to move things about.

I also smooth off any sharp corners of plastic/alu, where any leads run.

But my cars never look the neatest, its purely functional !!

Good Luck.

i agree
thoughs cable ties will wear though everything in there
frankie sometime neat is not practical all i have done is twisty tied ( from the freezer bags the soft wire ones) the main long bit of the leads but if there one thing about the g4s i dont like its this issue
u will fine that wherever a wire can fit u will need to put one there
so as they say just stuff em in there dude and make sure none hang out the bottom
even mr neat freak rob has everything jammed in there including a failsafe

Wiring is looking good ,although I see in the second pic you mounted the reciever on the bottom plate ,id suggest mounting it up side down on the top cover ,it will help with running the wires and hooking everything up.The lower reciever bracket will be like a inspection cover so there is no unecessary movement of the wiring.
