How can someone not notice the missing teeth from the brake pulley?

that pulley is made like that to give the rear a very smooth power delivery

Hi,
I just bought a G4S and am in the process of putting it together. I have yet to finish and see what parts are left over but I was not able to find the grub screws for the front one way/spool which hold the locking rods in. Are they black or silver? and would it matter if I don't use them?
I also haven't found the two grub screws to lock the rear axle bearings. There are two grub screws in separate bags and they may be it but they are not labelled or anything.
Other than that I am pretty impressed with what I have seen so far. I got to drive one on Sunday and it was very smooth compared to my other car.
Cheers

ok guys, i am a original g4 owner. i like the looks of the g4s. would it be wise to install the eds trans on the build? the first g4 had many issues, any on the new car? i am up in the air about which car to buy. it is between the g4s, the mtx4, and maybe the 720.

My kit was that way, and the front one-way in the new ED tranny setup I just installed is that way also. Mine has ran perfectly with just the o-rings holding the pins in. I might put the grub screws in if I were running the front locked in a long main just to be safe. Otherwise it's great to be able to switch back and forth in a few seconds.

How does the car react when using the front spool? Do you use thicker diff oil in the rear? What type of track conditions call for the front spool?

Ok I'll put in the grub screw. Thats all I needed to hear

I found the car pushed a bit into corners. The track I dorve on is very tight and very grippy. I was really impressed with how much the car pulled itself out of the corners though. I would probably try to use the one way option for a larger faster track, but I am relatively new to this sport (9 months) so don't take what I have to say without trying it yourself.

On our track I am finding the spool to be great for my driving style although most guys are running diffs in there cars.
Only hassle has been a bit of understeer when braking but it pulls out of the corners great.Havent had any issues with it and have never tried the oneway.I do run a rear lightweight ball diff though and found this to help keep the backend planted more. When I had the gear diff in the car it would overdrive the rear ,I could power slide out of the corners which was awesome but on occasion it would be a handful when under pressure racing another car.
This year has been a good learning curve with the car and every meet that I have had I have had a improvement ,partially from info shared on this thread.

Just got the message back from RC mushroom, he has checked all his remaining stock and they are all ok.
He is now sending out a replacement part.
Not got a reply from Kfactory yet though.

That is interesting about the brake pulley. I didn't check the couple of dozen oe so that went out, but received no notices from the guys and our present inventory is ok also.

I have heard alot of good news about the transmission. Vince from the Napa Calif area got 3rd in his main, highest ever finish. Henry in Northern Calif. only could say Wow! One other man, can't think of his name, so sorry, but from Greece had the same comments would of had his best finish ever, however driving abilities still come into play, and he crashed before the end of the race.

The numbers prove the results. The G4S need some help out of the turns and now we got it!

$469!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS

G4S'er you are the owner or the one affiliated with race day hobbies correct?

did you ever have to pay or price your g4s anywhere near that amount?

Also when you run out of your current stock will you start getting products from trinity or stop carrying tm products?

and if you will still carry tm can you manage your current prices when the distributor is charging that much?

We US TM users are gonna loose most of our stores which carry TM parts

Tower Hobbies US$ 389.99

It should be G4S, not RTR.
