The orange and blue ones are the same just a different color. we will have more blue ones next week.
The current G4's have the black ones like the mongoose. I highly recommend supergluing the bladder to the eyelet before assembly. It prevents oil from getting behind the bladder and will give you less headaches with the bladder wanting to fall into the shock housing during assembly.

all the loose shock kits have orange bladders in them now.

do you know about the Mongoose?

I could have sworn the bladders were blue in the mongoose, maybe I am confusing them with the Revo bladders, hmmm

anyways whats easier for me? will gluing the bladders fix the problem or should I just get the new orange bladders?

buy the new one, I tried glue the black one to the cap, the bladder still deform after short period of uses. .

Buy Mugen and you are set. The bladder won't come off when you open the cap. If you don't want the bladder to deform ( concave inside ? ) add tamiya red tube foam.

Hehehehehe.... may bad, sorry i should have explained it better. Glad someone worked it out though

Patto you must have been a bit slow with the order for the shock bladders as Sam has already supplied mine

The orange ones were alot better then the black ones that came with the Evo & Mongoose etc. I was under the illusion that the orange & blue bladders were different, but looks like i am wrong.

Hey that is interesting about the bladders included in the new kit. I was unware they have orange bladders in them. I will find out if they are the same as the new bladders. Maybe marketing say it is better to be blue than orange!! LOL

I have the blue in mine and found them to work very well so far. The key is for the to rebound to original size. Looks like the better quality of rubber in the new ones does exactly that.

We've found by using the new bladders with the Xray black foam shock inserts is just the perfect way to go. Perfect positive rebound and long lasting.
