Default More Worlds Today!

My ISP is being stupid so i can't upload them. I'll try and attach them here, but not sure if it will work very well. I also got access to the Pits today and got some great photos, but they are too large to post here

These well show the attention to detail that the QRCCCA have gone in preparation to holding these World Titles... Also what the drivers get up to when the track is wet

Hope to be able to do that soon... You'll just have to be patient

Asuming you have a G4-S, Check your manual on page 8, "03 Lower Suspension Arm"....there you'll see on step 4 those to little plastic anti-roll bar adjusters. They are used to compensate the height of each lower arm independently...also check on the perfect, no binding, aligment and lenght of each anti-roll bar blade..

I had the same problem with my G4S, and had to shave 1mm on the lenght of one blade ( make it shorter) to avoid the binding and one arm being haigher than the other one.

PattoJnr:

Thanks... i got a few more today, but am out of space on the ISP for storage now

I haven't ran the G4S since Tuesday night now, been to occupied with the Worlds. The clutch was way to snappy for me... I have pulled it apart, but because i am running a Mega ZX12 i couldn't use the kit collet. I had to use the engine one, but i have no realised it makes the flywheel sit out 1mm further then the kit one. This also puts more tension on the spring as well

I have ordered the correct collet for the picco engine to suit the UFO clutch.

I have been using the Kyosho 3D clutch spring from my old FW05, it is the same as the new 1.8mm black spring but 1.5mm shorter in length, and is only screwed on 3 turn from when it first gets a thread bite.

NiMo:

Thanks for that, but i don't have any of my Kyosho stuff left

Also, i think the engine (Mega) collet is a different taper to the kit one as flywheel is now slipping on the collet

Harder clutch spring engages the clutch late. Good for bigger tracks.
Softer clutch spring engages the clutch early. Good for smaller tracks.
