Unhappy Stripped motor mount screws

I believe HPI over did it this time on threadlock. I was taking apart the RS4 3 evo and all the heads on the screws stripped out. I manage to get all but one out and I am sooooo frustrated I could throw my car lol. I need it out so I can replace it with less threadlock and new screws. Can anyone help me out? I thought maybe I could drill it out, but then I might mess up the threads inside the motor mount. I don't want to do anything till someone is sure we can get this out with out mess up the mount.

Cut a slot in the head with a dremel. Or does the hpi screws use philipps? Anyhow to break the loctite at least you can set the tip of a solder iron on the screw and heat it up. If you drill it out you most likely will have to drill and tap the hole again. You could get an ez out from the hardware store and try getting it out with that. Good luck to ya.

Try heating up the Head and around it to maybe help loosen up screws

Here's an easy no damage way. Take everything else off the chassis and all other screws out of the motor mount. Now just grab the motor mount and unscrew it quickly and that should give you plenty of leverage to break the Loctite on the one remaining screw. Then you should be able to carefully unscrew the screw with a driver. If you chewed it too much you may have to slot with a Dremel cut off wheel and take it out with a flat blade driver. I have done this a few times and it works great.
