So how many 705 owners plan on keeping their 705's and not getting a 710?

I'm keeping my 705, it has a lot of life left in it.

I'm keeping mine, cause I'm still learning 1/10th racing. My level of experience is such that I need track time to learn more about the driving and setup in general. A new car with all the super features just won't make any difference for me - no criticisim on the car, simply on my lack of experience.

InitialD won't be getting one either, cause his wife.....eh, I mean, he's decided there is a lot of life left in his 705 and his new baby conversion kit from Germany means his old Impulse will also be converted to a 705

Cheers, Mark.

Struggled like in, "hade det besvärligt". And this wasnt due to lack of skill or effort, belive me. And once again that was my perception of the situation in my country...

It is true that owners of other cars are very preocupied with Serpent cars. Why I dont know, but I noticed that long before I bought my 705.

Mark: Struggle usually is translated "kamp". You know your swedish i see

Definitely keeping my 705!
Will think again in 6-9 months... by that time, there might be MTX4 and 710R, and if my driving is up to it... then I'll get something...
Actually I have this little Mini Xpress with old mini cooper body (electric) I am gonna work on it and try to get some track time on this thing.. should be good for learning.

I actually have a swedish flag on my monitor at work It comes more from a German saying than me being able to speak swedish.
I was off work for a long time with a broken leg and on my return, a collegue was surprised to see me and said "alter Schwede" (old swede), which in German is a term of surprise don't ask my why though

Ever since then, I've been named "alter Schwede" and was given a swedish flag, too I quite like it and haven't taken it down.

Cheers, Mark.

I'm definately keeping my Impulse Pro/705 (its a Impulse pro with some 705 parts). And since the swedish "race-levels" are much lower than the USA for example it will be able to compete some more time..

P.S My brain still sleeps so sorry for the bad language in this post...

I'll keep my 705. Too many spares in the box to even try to get back value from selling. Better to just race it... Just because the 710 is out there, the 705 does not become a bad car all of a sudden. It is just as good today as it was 3 months ago.

Hmm, by the way, how much diffrence is it between the 705 and Impulse Pro at the track? I mean, how big time-diffrencies is it with a pro-driver at a normal track?

New_toasted, performance wise the 705 and imp pro is on par with each other, really, the main difference is that the 705 is a bit easier to wrench on. Maybe the 705 has a slight advantage with lower CG but in reality, they are the same....
