I guess this is going to be your 98th car? If it's the 71th car, then it would make a lot of significance does it?

LSA Shock Tower
Hi All,
Just curious, since the LSA was introduced sometimes last year, why not so many racers using it ? Even in my country, the LSA shock tower is not much being used . I know that it was designed for small + technical track and the 710 is using it as a stock, hmmm....
Any idea behind this shock tower relate to the new design of 710 or maybe...maybe, the shape is different, I mean , i can see more curve compare to the old one (flat).
Rdgs

The new mounting position of the shocks being on the arms instead of the carrier would mean they would have to change the geometry of the so they must of panned on this and came out with the tower than incorporated it in the design to composate for the geo change

I don't know but on the 705 / Impulse, the LSA is used more especially for rubber tire setup.

The new design is interesting, because the trend in touring cars still seems to have been a more "laid down" setup, with the exception of the TC3, a different design all together. It has always been a rule in my book to stand the shocks up as much as possible, especially in the rear (without drastically hurting the setup of the car of course). The advantages can be great. The impulse/705 was my exception; I could never get it to work. The shocks were "inseperable."

Hi there!
I have an important question (atleast it's important for my wallet ).
I've got an Impulse PRO upgraded with Centax Clutch and rear belldiffrential. Now my question is, will i have to throw away my Impulse/705 just becuase the 710 will be much better? I'm not a very perfect driver either (YET! ). I don't have the money to buy a 710 but i want to know if i should keep my Impulse or not..

Hey there New_Toasted... Good to see you here Welcome ! Your questions has been asked may times, you know my point of view, but I suggest you go to the 710 forum and ask the same Q there, the 710 thread is the most active one right now... Anyway 705 will, in my opinion (as well as imp pro) remain a very competitive machine for the foreseable future, no worries... Over and out !
