I notice somebody here could not wait to Friday to get the pics out ! Anyway, all is good. Thanks for the pics.

I noticed that for the 705, your front right shock spring collar is not equal to the left one. A tweak perhaps?

I notice that the transponder mount is also not Serpents... Did you make them yourself?

Nice front carbon graphite body post bracket? You made them yourself?

Ummm, you're using a Lola shell on this car right? I noticed that you're running a front solid axle. Is this true?

Long live the Impulse PRO !

Yes my Impulse PRO is converted for GTP body's incl:
Bodymount set GTP EV2
Home made front carbon graphite body post bracket
with alu bodyposts
Impact M2 front bumper

and also front solid axle (Lots of braking) as you have seen.

Normally i drive the 705, but when there are alot of 1/8 on the track, i get my Impulse PRO

In my shock cap holes, I inserted traxxas metal pivot balls, which have two flanges. I have them in all shock mounting holes on the front and the two top mounting holes on the rear. You can crank the screws down on these as tight as you want without them binding. Traxxas makes a huge set of ball cups and pivot balls for only 6 bucks. Here is a pic of a small set of the pivot balls and cups, but again, traxxas makes a good lot of them (I think a 24 count) for a decent price. The pivot balls fit in the shocks perfectly.

Mark, you rock ! Your D1 photos are simply outstanding. I particularly like the contrast, clarity and the depth of field the photos give.

Gee, you say the sweetest things

Yep, the D1 really comes into its own with the avalability of good lenses - and as you say, the contrast is also mega!

Cheers, Mark.
