I can now remove my rear diff from the rear of the car in about 30 seconds (yes I said 30 seconds.)
My new car design also incorporates 4 screw removal of both front and rear diffs. I think this is the best way to go to ease the amount of time required to alter the set up of a car during a race meeting so that more time can be spent honing in the car to the track instead.

NOW, the next four pics are of my diff trick. I only must remove 4 screws to access and remove the differential.

All I have to do is slide the belt off, pull out the arms, and pull out the diff! Here is a pic of what the back piece looks like.

Wow, that's an awesome body. Did you use liquid mask, and if so which brand?

I Asked Rene Cornella about the new 47 pulley with 3 holes, but he said that they are still not in production! maybe they will be in the near future?

Front mod? I guess you are talking about the graphite bumper plate. I made that out of some sheet graphite and the stock piece. I just didn't feel like buying a new one when I knew that It would eventually break anyway.

Yes, you can show these to anyone you want.

I did paint the body with liquid mask. I think it was from Hobbico. It was actually my first time using the stuff!

Sorry,

The quick release diffs I was talking about are not mods I have done on the Serpent yet. I was referring to the design of my own MPP Flash car which will be on show in January. Will also be competing at the Winternats and hopefully have someone driving one at the Pre-worlds in February also.

Thumbs up

Proficar403 & fmolzer,
Nice looking Snakes guys!!

fmolzer- I bet you tare up the asphalt with that MONSTER!!

Proficar403- Pretty cool mod with the bulkheads with easy access......witch makes me come up with this question. Why are you have to get to the rear diff or belt at the race track so often to do this mod?
Any problems with belt breaking or diff breakage??

BTW- WILD PAINT JOB!!
