Taken from XXXS website;
"Droop is the amount of down travel that your shocks have. With adjusting droop you can greatly affect the way your car handles. As you increase your front droop (making the shock longer) you will smooth the car out going into the turn and gain steering on the exit of the turn. As you decrease your front droop (make the front shock shorter) your car will initiate the turn quicker but will have less steering coming out of the turn. The car will also have a more responsive feel."

This stinks... I was recently considering replacing my Streetspec Impulse with a 705, then came all the rumors about a new car... At this point, I'd hate to buy a car that will be "old news" as soon as I get it on the track.
At least if I knew whether or not it was a new car, or if the 705 could be updated to the new car, I could make a decision... oh well .

Modellor, who knows more than us mere mortals, seemed to suggest earlier in this thread that it a completly revised new car. (think mtx2,mtx2-prospec -> mtx3 (mtx3-works 2004?)).
I would wait and get the "s706" which probaly is new platform. Disclaimer: Im a clueless n00b

If you ask me, all I can imagine them wanting to change is:
a) A chassis mounted steering servo (ala the MTX-3) for lower CG,
b) The rear upper suspension revisions for adjustable track width, as discussed earlier in this thread,
c) Another revision for the front FC blocks (which people still seem to be having a problem with).
d) revise the battery tray mounting issue, which some people also have had problems with.

This is not fact in any way but I was told from a source that the new 705/6???? will be mimicing the 950R with the new steering and throttle servos mounting a la the Team Magic G4. All I can say is my source has never been too far wrong yet

That doesnt sound farfetched Modellor... Does your source have any information then Serpent will announce it to the public?
