And there are the differences, mugen has larger pinions but by default it comes with th same gearing as the others.
The default 2nd gear ratio with mod 0.8 is like running 20/47 with mod-1 gears. To me not very uncommon but not what you want on larger tracks.
I' m using arc gearbox with 0.8 mod on my mrx6r, the only difference just said Roelof is that I have to use different gearing compared to arc- infinity. Mugen gearing will be similar to shepherd, who use 48 pulley like us. I tested it for a year on two car, it works pretty well.

Looks good YoDog. Looking forward to seeing you back down at Steel City once it is able to open up. First weekend is going to look like a bunch of crack addicts just released from rehab. :-O

LOL...Crack head right here!
She went together like a dream. The only issue I had was a slightly warped front lower arm. The hinge pin was a bit tight and wouldn't move freely. The other side was butter. The logic of how some parts were bagged didn't make much sense to me but I've built my share of kits and figured it out no problem.

It's a bit wider at the top and possibly a little taller.
They probably included the new tapered cone for better fitment of the 4 bearing clutch. IDK as I didn't have the earlier kits new.

Yeah, I didn't think so. I suppose enough people complained about the poor fit with the novarossi cones. Although the Mugen cone was available as an option, people weren't happy that they had to buy a special cone to use their engine of choice.

Well that is nice looking. I'd hope it could handle some abuse.

It must be 3 or 4mm carnon to withstand a hit. Looks nice but if the weight difference is only a few grams then it is not worth the 50 euro....

And how to attach a deer antler most people use to stiffen up the body?

Just buy it Ralph. You won't crack it.

It's likely at least 5mm thick but I agree, not worth 50 euro for what little performance it may add due to it's stiffness. All chassis Mfrs. make the OE body mount from softer/flexible material for good reason. If stiffness was truly desired, they would make it from the same plastic as the arms. Knowing it would be subject to impact, it is not stiff on purpose.
The top mounted body stiffener might still fit but...
