The other item is a aluminum piece you can bolt over the pipe on the muffler bracket wire so the pipe does not come off if the pipe screw comes loose.

Ah... yes.
I saw the pipe retainer but somehow missed the Y Plate. Probably because it's painted black and I assumed it was the carbon one at first glance.
Definitely a Steel City must have!

Two of my friends are taunting me. They sent these pictures today. I am still at work but my new kit is sitting on my front porch as we speak. And don't think about, I have cameras at the front door !

MRX6R to MRX6X conversion kits now available in VERY limited quantities. Has all parts needed to upgrade to the X and also comes with the pinion tool to fit the new .08 Module gers that come with the 6X and are also included in the conversion kit. Note that the additional; screws are not included but any serious racer has extra screws. https://www.mugenracing.com/m1019-mrx6x-conversion-kit/

Mugen also has the new 0.8 module pinion gear toll separately for people just buying the new kit. https://www.mugenracing.com/b0554-pi...or-0-8m-gears/

MRX6X instruction manual to show you how to assemble the conversion kit and the screws needed. https://www.mugenracing.com/content/...X%20Manual.pdf

It's Christmas in March !

Hello Roelof-
I had the same question, as the length of the H0272 and H0272-B are identical. The difference is that the pivot chamfer (axle side) has been enlarged to allow for increased steering angle.

So the new front uprights can make a larger steer angle? If not than it is not a real needed upgrade.

I have to check with other cars. I know a few years ago someone did use the ARC gearbox on his MRX6 but could not get the speed while one of the teamdrivers did. After calculations even the fastest possible gearing was not fast enough, it had to to that the ARC was using an 23T pulley in front and an 46T in rear in stead of 24/48 and that teamdriver had also changed the pulleys. So I have to cheack the list of gears with the ARC (and Capricorn) to see if Mugen has made a wider range.

Infinity uses the same gear box as ARC and Cap...

Mugen:
1st gear pinion: 19 20
2nd gear pinion 24 25
1st gear spur 60 61 62
2nd gear spur 56 57 58

ARC:
1st gear pinion: 17 18 19
2nd gear pinion 22 23 24
1st gear spur 60 61 62
2nd gear spur 56 57 58

Infinity:
1st gear pinion: 19
2nd gear pinion 24
1st gear spur 60 61 62
2nd gear spur 56 57 58

And there are the differences, mugen has larger pinions but by default it comes with th same gearing as the others.
The default 2nd gear ratio with mod 0.8 is like running 20/47 with mod-1 gears. To me not very uncommon but not what you want on larger tracks.
